Front desk staff member did not acknowledge Accor status, and argued that I would not get breakfast free of charge as a Platinum member. I advised that I stay often and always receive complimentary breakfast and she stood firm. After escalating and advising she would call me back to advise the outcome there was no call. I asked another lively staff member later on, who kindly advised that it was definitely included free of charge. Breakfast is good, except the bacon was odd, very oily, maybe deep fried?

I chose the Mantra on Little Bourke street for 3 reasons: the apartment studio, the gym (!) and the location. I was pleased to find that the staff and service at the Mantra was exceptional, they treated me like a very valued guest and I was felt most welcome during my 5 week stay whilst working in Melbourne.
