I would appreciate a microwave in every room, we wasted a lot of food because it went bad (not hotels fault); but It would be really helpful if guests could use some microwave inside their rooms.

The hotel'S. location is quite convenient, however, its overall upkeep appears to be lacking, and we did not receive room cleaning service throughout the entire four nights we were there.

The Ibis Melbourne Hotel and Apartments on Victoria Street is a solid 3-star choice for those prioritizing space and location over meticulous service. Its greatest strength is the room size; the accommodations and bathrooms are notably more spacious than your typical city-center Ibis, offering plenty of breathing room. It is also perfectly positioned within easy walking distance of Bourke and Flinders Streets. However, the experience was hindered by under-par housekeeping. While the basics like bed-making and towel swaps were handled, the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned and essential supplies weren't fully replenished. It’s a decent, well-located option, provided you don't mind a "bare-minimum" approach to daily room maintenance.
