As you know I am a regular guest at Ibis Therry Street. On this occasion I did not get any welcome gift or acknowledgement. There was nothing in my room nor drink voucher. I did mention to Simran at Reception and she very kindly looked into it and provided me with a bottle of red wine thank you Simran. Otherwise all good I appreciated the room no 1001 and the breakfast food and team.

Well located but flawed stay

On checking in, I was accosted at the reception desk by another female guest who appeared to have had too much to drink. I arrived late after a long day and was keen to find my room. The person at reception didn't appear to know how to manage this guest who had caused a delay for a number of guests also wanting to check in. After several minutes, the guest who appeared to have been drinking accosted me - not violently, but held my arm and complained that I was being rude to her. Hotel reception staff were apologetic but offered no recompense. The room was fine, but a little dark.

Great room but the shower needs modernising, showers over a bath are very difficult for a person my age to keep safe in. Of course the room was very good

Handy location, room wifi very poor

We liked a lot about the property- location, complimentary room upgrade, Accor status benefits, complimentarylaure checkout. However, I needed to work remotely and found the room wifi (room 414) almost unusable. I stayed 2 nights and reported the eifi at the from desk 2 times. Received apology but the wifi didn't change. I had to take my laptop to the lobby to activate my work VPN as it timed out repeatedly- I tried for 30 minutes. I couldn't use video in meetings and even the audio was laggy and patchy.
