This is the second time staying at this hotel but this time It was not good , ok to just sleep in but that’s all. The shower looked like it had not been cleaned , the floor looked dirty , we all did a lot of sneezing, the curtain was short so while sleeping people can see in. light wakes you up ( impossible to sleep in ) when we got there we waited in front of the elevator and stood back to let people out and a guy who worked there pushing the bag trolley ( not our bags ) just jumped in the elevator and shut the doors I was not happy considering we waited there for it. next time I would definitely go elsewhere.

Gratefully, I made a last minute booking for 2 nights stay with IBIS Budget CBD when I needed a quick and cheap alternative to replace an original hotel booking (that was unacceptable due to the original booking lacking cleanliness and presenting personal safety issues).

Huge town so great location just next to everything. Good place for a budget hotel. Pretto good value and pretty clean. Nice staff and restaurants and shops all around. Busstops and trams around the corner.

The hotel is exactly what it says.....budget! The room was ok, bed was comfortable and sheets clean. Bathroom is tiny and not a separate room, just a shower curtain separates it from the bedroom but it's functional, water pressure is good and the water was hot. Toilet is tiny and I wouldn't want to be a large person trying to move in it. The room was a bit tired looking and could do with some repairs as one of the PowerPoint's was partially hanging out of the wall. The corridors were also tired with the corners damaged and are rather narrow. Breakfast was not worth the $12 price point as it was supposed to be a full continental but it was only cereal and toast. There was a pancake machine but it wasn't working properly and didn't until a staff member finally cleaned it. The night staff reception was also not knowledgeable about Melbourne or chose not to want to answer any questions but she was pleasant enough.

The room was stinking. Allies were dirty and cracked. I booked this hotel mistakenly and was not worthy paying more than AUD 400 and was non refundable.
