Its an IBIS budget I think that says it all. If you need a cheap place to stay which is very central, surrounded by plenty of eateries and shops, public transport on your door step then choose this hotel but don't go expecting super clean rooms or the best facilities. The bathroom only had a curtain separating the shower from the toilet so the floor would get wet, we always showered with flip flops on as it wasn't the cleanest of bathrooms. There were lots of sign of wear and tear, the front door downstairs leads to a corridor then you take the lift up to reception so it can be missed if you aren't paying attention. There were some homeless people close by being quite loud but this is expected in a large city. The staff were friendly, one evening we brought microwave food and asked reception for some cutlery which they did provide and allowed us to use the guest microwave and sit in the breakfast area to eat. If budget is a factor in choosing your hotel then i would say to choose this one as the location was great and the bedding was soft and clean.

The staff were friendly and always ready to assist, making the check-in process seamless. The room, though modest, was clean and well-maintained, providing all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was a major highlight, with numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. Overall, my experience was pleasant, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option in the heart of the city. Whether for business or leisure, it served as an excellent base for my adventures.

The room smelled absolutely foul, I fould not stay in it and had to find somewhere else! The shower just had a curtain separating it and the rest of the room and the carpet has obviously been wet and rotten for a long time making the whole room smell awful! When I handed back my keycard and said I couldn't stay there because of the smell, the guy on the desk essentially just shrugged and said nothing about it other than "Is it really that bad?"
