The hotel has first class staff when it comes to service, courtesy and friendliness. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good and varied, with staff constantly replenishing food and clearing tables. We could ask for nothing more.

My stay at the Ibis Budget was very comfortable. The check in and check out process was smooth, and the staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is in an amazing location - the tram stop is right opposite, a few steps away and all the major attractions within walking distance. The housekeeping staff took extra care to ensure the room was neat and tidy. If one can get over the peculiar washroom arrangement, this is a great stay for the price. I will certainly come back.

Staff were lovely helpful and friendly but pics of rooms on website very deceiving. Toilet kept running most of night. Was given an upgrade on arrival so I would not have liked to see the room we were originally in.

A budget hotel with a lot more to offer

Rooms were clean and comfortable and price is reasonable. Staff were delightfully friendly and helpful. But the location is the absolute best asset to this hotel - trams right outside the door, a couple of minutes walk to the Flinders Station and to Bourke Street Mall.
