Hi Management Team, I am writing to share feedback regarding an unpleasant experience I had with one of your front desk staff members during my recent stay at your hotel. On the night of the 21st, I spoke with a receptionist and requested assistance in arranging a taxi to the airport for 4:30 a.m. the following morning. I specifically asked whether I needed to pre-book the taxi, and I was assured that no advance booking was required and that the staff on duty in the morning would assist me. However, when I arrived at the reception desk at approximately 4:20 a.m. the next morning, the staff member the Lady receptionist (Asian lady, chubby & Fat) on duty informed me very rudely that the hotel does not assist with taxi arrangements and that I needed to make my own arrangements. When I explained that I had been given different information the previous night, she dismissed it as incorrect. I then asked for a taxi phone number, which she initially refused to provide, telling me to check online instead. At that time, I was very anxious due to my upcoming flight. Only after an argument did she finally give me a phone number, allowing me to book a taxi myself. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident with the same staff member. I also experienced issues when trying to use the washing machine, which was not working properly. She was unhelpful and unwilling to explain how to operate it. On another occasion, while using the microwave on Level 1 and getting water from the tap, I felt uncomfortable as she closely followed and observed me in a manner that felt unnecessary and unwelcoming, as if I were being monitored. I would like to note that other staff members I interacted with during my stay were polite and helpful. However, the behavior of this particular staff member significantly affected my overall experience at your hotel. I strongly believe this matter should be addressed through proper customer service training or appropriate disciplinary action, as this type of behavior does not align with the standard of service expected from an Ibis hotel. Place looks well managed and maintained. Only issue I had was with shower as water sprayed outside the shoer tube. Fortunately, hotel provide new shower mat daily to remove water

the sheets were clean and the water hot. i was in the city with the wish to be close to the cbd so the location was excellent. dont get me wrong- it could have been cleaned a little better but it was acceptable for my short stay in melbourne- and value for money!

Good location, not far from the mall, near trams and Flinders station. Room was on the small side but neat and clean. I'd stay there again.
