Overpriced, basic and noisy

I paid $255.57 for the loudest and most basic room I have ever stayed in. Don’t ever accept 650. It’s right behind the lift so that’s all you hear all the time. The second single bed was so close to the door it would hit my daughter if she had been in bed when it was opened. There is nothing nice here. Go somewhere else for this price.

We had 2 good nights but our other night we had very noisy guests staying in a few rooms with constant talking in hallway . They were also in and out of rooms. Only settled after 12am

We drove from Sydney to Melbourne, and as I proudly mentioned being an Accor member to my wife, she made a reservation for one night. Since we weren’t very familiar with the city, I suggested booking a property near David Jones. While driving, we found some good rates online and made the booking through Wotif. Excited to arrive after our 10-hour journey, we were shocked to discover there was no record of our booking. When my wife checked the confirmation email, she realized the booking had been made for the following month, even though she had selected the current date. Exhausted from the long drive, we were further frustrated by having to wait over two hours before being offered another room. Despite the booking being made less than two hours earlier, the duty manager refused to cancel or amend the error, which was clearly unintentional. As a result, we were penalised and charged double the rate, with no refund provided to date. Is this truly the standard Accor upholds?

All good in general , lift broken down on the 2nd last day - only 1 lift working have to wait n when arrived it’s jammed with people .
