Firstly, I'd asked for the room to be left at 15C and they said all they could go to was 16C. A) that's just not good enough and I don't care for sustainability measure at the sacrifice of guest comfort. B) I walked into the room with the thermostat at 18C and couldn't go lower. It makes for an uncomfortable stay. We pay good money to the Explorer+ program and hope that loyalty is returned with simple request fulfilled. Secondly, there was one concierge for rush time on a Friday afternoon on the weekend of an AFL final (one of the biggest weekends in Melbourne), and the same on the next morning at checkout. With only one elevator working, it took me 35 minutes to go from level 5 to reception. I wasn't able to take the stairs because of an injured ankle. So poor.

Great location only let down was one of the elevators was being maintained so only one in operation so bit of a pain during busy periods given we where on the top floor. Hot water was abit all over the place too which meant showers where a game of burn or freeze depending on what it felt like doing.

Good location for work. However, the room was terrible. Zero view from the window and if you did open the curtain the view was glass covered in pigeon mess. The lights in the room barely provided any light which meant the room was quite depressing.

We were told to book breakfast for 2 days in one go one night before. We felt this is unfair we want to try breakfast for one day only. Since they didnt allow us... we decided not to have breakfast there at all. Also, our rooms were not made up on the 2nd day although we stayed there for 3days and 2 nigths. There was no bottled water in the room. That would have been a nice gesture since we hav paid quite a sum for the booking. Too bad .. you've lost a customer.

No water provided in an emergency situation. Leftover food ordered for room dine in was not picked up for 3 consecutive nights even after calling for service. Vending machines were out of order. One lift for 12 floors- needed to wait for long time to get up and down. Staff at reception were clueless about in general customer service.

Beds were comfy and room was great. Was disappointing the vending machine was out of order (was out of order months ago too when we last stayed). What was more frustrating was only 1 lift working which meant we had to wait alot longer in the morning to leave and I ended up late for work. Would also be good to remind guests to use their inside voice in the lobby and to move into the lift to let others get in. Some very rude guests were there.
