Received a different room from the one I booked (20 m2 and not 28m2 as per booking), the 4th bed wasn’t prepared, and we had to prepare it ourselves. Bad experience and I’m still pending to receive a support or answer…but the receptionists were kind, even if they weren’t able to support.

Room was fine . Lady on reception was lovely. Breakfast was grim .. apathetic, disinterested staff, not re filling anything with any lack of enthusiasm. Large bug found crawling around in the loose tea ..finally managed to show the woman and she just pulled a face and took it away

There's a bus service once an hour and you need to know where the bus goes it doesn't always go all the way to Banyuls sur Mer for example. There's an excellent restaurant in Port Vandres port called Mengem, produits locaux de saison, service brillant and it's only 5 - 10 min's. walk from the hotel.

A lovely clean hotel with air con and a rooftop pool. A great breakfast and friendly staff. The only small problem is the parking spaces are very tight if you have a large vehicle.

From the moment we arrived, Tristan made us feel welcome. We ended up arriving a night early and he was easily able to get our reservation adjusted to two nights. The room was small, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and there is a grocery store across the street for any last minute needs. Also, don't forget to go up to the 4th floor pool area and check out the view!

Overall, I would rate my stay 7/10. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was satisfactory, although a small touch such as a complimentary bottle of water would have been appreciated. However, there were several issues that affected my experience. Parking was a real problem - after going out for dinner and returning later in the evening, there were no spaces available, meaning I had to park elsewhere. As a solo traveller, this was inconvenient and did not feel particularly reassuring. I also went to the reception area earlier in the evening hoping to get a drink or snack, but no staff were present. I could hear someone in the back office on the phone, but after waiting for some time, I eventually gave up. In addition, I had expected facilities such as a bar or restaurant, as is often the case in other Ibis hotels, although I acknowledge I should have checked this more carefully when booking. Breakfast was underwhelming, with no hot options apart from a self-service boiled egg. Basic items were also not well replenished - for example, the jam jar was almost empty. Overall, I did not feel that the stay offered good value for the price paid, and I would be unlikely to choose this hotel again, despite being an Accor member.
