Receptionists were very friendly and welcoming, providing a great first impression. I arrived early and was able to leave my luggage which was very convenient. I was even given a map of the town and directions to the main area. My room was exactly as I expected and worked well for me. The air con was particularly welcome. I had breakfast here which was fairly basic but good value for money.

We arrived early as we had an early train - I was disappointed we couldn’t check in any earlier without paying quite a high fee, that was quite disproportionate to the price of our booking! The reception & communal areas were dirty & reception was cluttered with laundry cages, blocking fire exits. The lift was in a very poor state of repair & on one occasion was under maintenance so we had to go up the stairs (we were on the 7th floor)! The room itself was clean, well maintained so great for our stay. The hotel was nice & quiet. The area the hotel opens onto does look quiet run down & I’m sure with a bit of TLC the hotels exterior could look more welcoming!

There were bugs in the bed

However, we would like to clarify that you did not report this issue to our reception during your stay. Our team is available 24 hours a day, and had we been informed, we would have immediately inspected the room and, if necessary, offered you an alternative room. Following your departure, our housekeeping and maintenance teams carried out a thorough inspection of the room and found no evidence of bed bugs or any signs of their presence. Please also note that all of our mattresses are fitted with certified bed bug protective covers as part of our preventive measures, and we follow strict monitoring and hygiene procedures to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests. We take any report of this nature very seriously and always investigate thoroughly. We regret that we were not given the opportunity to assist you during your stay. We stay at your disposal. Perfect location, not far to the centre or the station. Staff were very friendly and welcoming both before and during our stay. Great style of room, possibly a new one, which I loved with an integrated bathroom and toilet rather than the 2 in cupboards. Would definitely return and would recommend.

The location is great with secure underground parking. The room was a good size. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. My only issue was being disturbed by the cleaner. Check out was 12 noon but I got 2 knocks on the door during the morning and had to listen to furniture being moved around in the neighbouring rooms, which led to a disruptive morning.

When we saw the room photos we didn't think that it would be that tight. This was one of the worse hotels we've been concerning the room size... and we've been to some budget b&b hotels. The hotels location was good, walking distance to the city center. Parking wise, the best option is Indigo Perpignan Catalone, 5 min walking and without the crazy prices/schedules from the one below this Ibis. Breakfast was ok. During check-out morning several housekeeping maids entered our room after knocking only once... My wife was bathing my kid and off course they saw them... So, not cool privacy wise...

The man at the reception was vert helpful and friendly. The hotel is well located, the decor is modern and the room very clean. Remove 1 point as not easy to park if you don't want to pay for car park.

Me and my family woke up to a fire alarm at 00:30 a.m.. I waited for a couple of minutes for the staff to do something. To no avail. As we were on the fifth floor I got dressed and headed out of the room. I went to the stairwell and checked every floor for smoke, etc. Nobody anywhere. I went to the lobby. Nobody there either. Finally an old man came from the office space and mumbled something. I understood everything was OK. I went back to bed and we all started sleeping again. But we didn't sleep for long. Barely half an hour later another fire alarm. This was maybe around 1:30 a.m.. I walked down the stairs straight to the reception. Newsflash! Nobody there... Quite a few hotel guests started to come to the lobby, some with their luggage. Quite angry. But no staff anywhere! Is the building on fire? Nobody bothered to inform us. Finally I realized somebody was moving on a security camera monitor. It took me a while to realize it was the same old guy in the office space. I yelled for him to come to us. In a while he did. I was the first to ask what is going on, but everybody else had a word to say, too. Finally we learned someone had been smoking in their room. Twice! That is just unforgiveable. On the first time there was nothing the staff could have done to prevent it. What they should have done then, is to have removed the person from the hotel or call the police. Instead, they let them do it again. I didn't sleep much after that and I was supposed to start driving at 7 a.m. and drive 1200 kilometers!! Well, I can tell you, it was a long day... I cannot express my discontent enough.
