The hotel staff did not allow check-in before 3 p.m. Although that is the check-in time, they made several people wait until 3:00 p.m. so we could enter and we had to wait 3 hours in the hotel lobby. The food was tasty but the portions were very small. The people at the bar and room service were very polite, friendly and helpful. Well located in a safe site.

The Novotel Providencia is very well located in the comfortable and safe Providencia neighborhood just minutes from the metro, the river walk and lots of great food. The room was very comfortable and the staff are incredibly helpful (and speak great English, although we engaged mostly in Spanish). My ONLY complaint is the breakfast. Chile is know for amazing fruit and the fruit was not great. Boring orange and melon instead of berries and other seasonal amazingness. Also their hot food was not super appetizing (although they always made me fried eggs on request). Overall would DEFINITELY recommend.

I frequently stay at the hotel and it's great for a short stay. It's nice and clean and has everything you might need. My only suggestion is to add some water bottles to the minibar.
