The location is convenient and we slept well. The only problems we encountered were a noticeably unclean toilet and shower.

I stayed at the hotel during the election celebration that took place in Santiago on Election Day. I never felt safer and certainly owe the manager of the hotel my debt of gratitude for his outstanding caring for not just the clients staying at the hotel, but also the staff that were on site during this difficult time.

Oasis in hectic Santiago Downtown area

Coming from a long flight we were happy to be checked in rapidly and by friendly persons at the reception. We enjoyed being at a silent place directly in downtown Santiago. We had nice views from the room. It was easy to arrange in room dinner and breakfast since we were still in quarantine at the beginning. Overall a good experience including the upgrade of one of our rooms.

As a Platinum member receive very unfriendly welcome as well no welcome drink. No bodel of water as well no towels in the room. The hotel saw me for the first and last time.

Dirt under the beds, very noisy staff knocking on my door at 8:30 to clean the room. I was charged an extra CLP 40.000 on myu credit card, instead of the CLP16.226 I was due.... Furthermore, they hardly ever answer the telephone at the reception. I certainly wouldn't like to return

The room service food was abhorrent - I ordered a salad and the avocado in it was obviously brown and old. The pasta dish was disgusting. The room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned and the window handle was broken, so the street noise made it difficult to sleep.

Gusts smoking weed in the room

Good experience with staffs, good location, nice breakfast. Only issue that I had was that for 2 nights I had to call reception because guests were smoking weed in the room besides mine. Impossible to sleep with smells and smoke entering my room. First time I've ever seen this on a Hotel. I was shocked. Seems that it does note have smoke detector. I called reception and the only thing they did was throw some good air spray in the hallway. Unbelievable.

I stayed for one week, they will not fill minibar, beer, coffee and spoon also. When I ask them to bring them, they will fill immediately. And I asked them to borrow electronic kettle, they also bring immediately. Ask something without hesitation, they will do everything you want.

the hotel in question has disappointed my whole family, no deposition of room hygiene items, breakfast disorganization requested, leisure area under renovation and the choice of hotel was seen in the photos and lack of maintenance.

Common service, nothing special. Rooms with very small double beds. Room cleaning did not occur and the amount of towels were not according to the amount of guests. Breakfast with few options, and ends too early does not allow it to be late.

Overall an excellent stay; in Breakfast, there could be one veg option atleast; my breakfast everyday was a cup of cereals, 2 slices of bread, some fruits and some juice; as I was a complete vegetarian, i had to stay away from the 3 main breakfast dishes which had egg as well

Despite the traffic noise from the mainstreet at night we had a very comfortable stay. Especially the staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered a good breakfast and all common features that are needed to feel comfortable for a trip to Santiago. It is located in the center with many hotspots nearby.

Every time I travel to Santiago, I stay at Mercure. Staff are always ready to assist you, warmly: the people at the reception desk, the room keeper (great Aurora) and the servants at the breakfast, everybody greets you with a big :-) on their faces. The restaurant is also nice and the hotel offers cab services at fair prices.

There did not seem many options for big brand hotels, but if that is how you want to stay in a large City then this hotel does the job. The staff all seem very young but they are competent and each try to make their own individual contribution. The lobby is attractive but just has a reception counter and seats. The restaurant (and breakfast) location on the 2nd floor is attractive and welcoming. The breakfast was reasonable without being a wow. On the otherhand the dinner menu was really good quality and fairly priced. The outdoor pool area and bar are a nice feature. The surrounding buildings have the effect of amplifying the traffic noise so it never seems quiet on the road facing side. Still, Santiago is a busy city and for us that was not a problem. The hotel has taxi arrangements with a company that proved reliable.
