Odd hotel layout, but a great experience overall. The spa was excellent, with both a sauna and steam room, plus a decent-sized pool. The room was spacious, with separate showers that were especially convenient for a couple. Super comfortable bed and a large TV as well. The breakfast selection wasn’t huge, but definitely good enough for a small hotel, with high-quality products throughout. Service was top-notch, and the location was great — close to a metro stop and surrounded by excellent restaurants. Not the most touristy area, but it had a very Parisian vibe and offered great value for money.

I had been in touch with the FOM a few months ago as I was looking for a new home in Paris (3 stays per year), following the closure of the Westin Vendome where I had been a repeat guest for years. Despite being only a Gold member with ALL, while being an Ambassador member with Marriott and at the Diamond level with Hilton, I was given to understand that I would be well treated with suite upgrades. I booked 2 stays in May (4 & 5 nights) with a stay at the MGallery Les Cures Marines at Trouville in-between the 2 stays at Boutet. I received a one category upgrade (a better Junior suite than the one booked) for my first stay, but the roomhad a nice terasse which I enjoyed. I stopped 3 times to talk to the FOM and thanked but unfornately she was never available. I then sent an email that, awkwardly, did not get a response. When I got back from Trouville, I check-in the hotel and was told that, this time, I would not be upgraded. There was no message from the FOM for me apologizing for not being upgraded as discussed. I have a long experience with hotels with over 3,000 hotel nights and to me this is a textbook example on how to loose a potential longtime repeat guest. I have seen a few groups at the hotel and the management might prefer this type of clientele. Anyway, there was dramatic eventbut my future stays in Paris will be within Marriott or Hilton and this will stop my attempt to stay more at Accor properties as I am treated a lot better at Marriott hotels (with suite upgrades from booked basic rooms) and Hilton hotels. Additionally, I receive complimentary breakfasts at hotels of both chains.
