Check in took 30 min because there was a group check in ahead of me No iron in room which is fine - called reception, nobody picked up phone. Went down to reception and got it sorted but not ideal compared to expectations.

Dear Kristian, We are sincerely sorry you had to wait for your check-in. This thursday was a busy day for us and unfortunatly when big groups arrive like that the arrival process can be a bit longer. Indeed our rooms do not include irons. We have a special rioning station on level 3. I am glad to read everything went well in the end. We do hope that overall you appreciated your stay with us. Friendly staff - comfortable accommodation - modern with spacious corridors - the swimming pool is just a skinny strip of water, so don’t just book for this reason. Perfect for an overnight stay before hopping on the TGV

Well located beside Gare De Lyon station, very convenient but the walk way is a bit dark. Furthermore, the room is not really sound proof as can hear people chattering and noises from opposite station. Overall good stay with friendly and helpful staffs.

I would think twice before booking at this hotel. And especially do not rely on their payments system. I booked 5 nights in Paris in December 2024. I booked on the website and payment was confirmed. I received a booking reference via email. Novotel then cancelled my booking, saying there was a payment problem, and never informed me. So 5 days before my trip, I contacted them to check everything was OK and they told me my reservation was cancelled. The staff and the manager did not lift a finger to help me. So I had to find somewhere else at the last minute. Very bad experience.

Dear Tom, We have read your 2 reviews on different platforms. You intiated your pre-paid booking through the website 3 weeks ago. The transaction failed which means there was a problem with your card and we did not receive the payment. In that case the booking is automatically cancelled as the paiment can not be done. Following that event you received an automatic mail informing you about the cancellation of your booking. Four days before your arrival, you contact us to validate your booking. Our team informs you about the cancellation and you mention not receiving a mail. Two days ago you contact our team again and we offer you to do the payment again keeping the initial price. You refuse saying you already have booked another hotel. You can not say our team "did not lift a finger" as we offer you to re-do the payment for the same booking. Thank you very much.
