We only had a few hours in Paris this time, but were able to make the most of them by staying here. It's only a few minutes' walk from the Gare de Lyon, and after checking in we easily walked from the hotel to the Bastille and then Notre Dame and the Left Bank. GdL metro station is handy too, of course. We could see a nice "green corridor" (pedestrianised and planted former railway) from the window of our room, and walked along it. The room itself was comfortable, had everything we needed, and was reasonably priced for the location. Shower tray was slow to empty but I'm sure the helpful staff would have fixed that after we reported it.

Ok for one night, but… I had messaged hotel our check in would be late around 22. They still called to ask when we arrived.. then reception staff ( a very friendly guy) claimed breakfast was not paid. When I showed proof he would ‘fix it’ .. at check out the woman at reception asked for payment again.. I refused and then suddenly it was ok. A lot of hassle for a short nights stay due to traveling early. At 245,- Price and quality of stay don’t really match.

Very small room. No fridge in the room Insufficient heat although to the maximum.
