Hotel provided a good base for active walkers. Reception staff, day and night, friendly and helpful. Room small but clean. Issue with quite noisy air con but opened window in end. Hotel very small and quiet. Booked breakfast on arrival, much cheaper than if prebooked online. Choice limited for cold and hot items but found things I liked and good coffee machine downstairs. No kettle, tea, coffee in room so charged for extras outside breakfast. We really appreciated being able to leave our luggage earlier than book in and this looked a very popular option based on number of bags left behind reception.

Everything was good, maybe except for a very narrow single beds.

OK. More like an Ibis Budget than an Ibis. No record of late checkout despite being booked. Even when confirmed by reception the room key card stopped working at the regular checkout time. Hot water didn’t work properly in our room. But great location.
