We have used this hotel twice a year for the past 4 years and have mostly liked it but we will be trying another Adagio next time. The staff keeps changing (I know that is normal in the industry) so it is not as fun when they greet you after a 10 hour airplane trip. The rooms are all quirky, some have great AC, some have good storage, some are quiet, some are sunny, some have a decent kitchen set-up with a good microwave and working oven-top, but unfortunately we have never had a room that has all of the above. The carpets are super worn out, makes it look dingy and dirty. After four days with two people the toilets can get stinky and the towels a bit moldy even if you hang them, but I would have to pay for cleaning products. Washer and Dryer was broken. Our shower head was slippery and the water would only turn in. My spouse said it was impossible to fix because it had been installed wrong, so we just gave up. The microwave looked like it was from 1980s Iron curtain (5 minutes to heat water) with impossible to understand interface (we even googled it). One burner did not work. Hanging and shelf for two people with two small suitcases each was not enough. This is a room for one business person for two nights. Staff used to look up and greet us as we came in and out, no longer. Oh well.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst my partner recovered from a surgery and we had a really lovely stay. The staff were all so kind and helpful and answered any questions we had. They were always happy to see you when passing by the front desk. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated, and had a lovely outdoor space to sit in. There’s a washing machine and dryer on the ground floor as well which was super helpful as we were there for quite some time. The room was very well equipped, with plenty of space for everything we needed, and AC which in the summer was very much appreciated! The kitchen, although compact, was a very good use of space, and easy to cook in, with a good sized fridge too! The hotel is in a great location in Paris that lets you experience the city without feeling like a tourist. It’s located near loads of cafés, bakeries, pharmacies, and a grocery store, and the metro is a few minutes walk as well. We hope to return to Paris again in the future and this will definitely be the hotel we choose to return to.

Comfortable stay but need cleaning services every second day (at least). If you charge hotel prices then this service needs to be included like with other hotels. We stayed 4 nights without any cleaning of i.e. the bathroom. Not.cool.

In addition to the terrible drilling on the first day of our stay which meant that we could not rest after traveling for nearly 24 hours, there were a number of other issues with the hotel: a broken window in the room, flies in the room, air conditioning that did not work and needed to be serviced by the hotel, one of the two elevators was broken and therefore we needed to wait for extended amounts of time, and the hallway lights, despite being on a timer, did not go on until we were in front of the room door which was extremely unsafe.

I am also sorry to learn about the issues you encountered in your room. Regarding the elevator, I am pleased to inform you that the issue has now been resolved. As for the air conditioning, almost all of our rooms are operating properly. Although occasional technical issues may arise, our maintenance team always works as quickly as possible to resolve them and restore our guests' comfort. We also appreciate you bringing the concerns about the window issue and the hallway lighting to our attention. well located between two metro stops with supermarkets nearby. Air conditioning was fantastic and most welcome during the heatwave. Cooking facilities basic but adequate.

The room was overall really clean, the only thing that was annoying: the towels had so many lints, when we used them we had white lints all over us, seperate beds and the shower drainage was broken it was really slow so water went everywhere when showering. But other than that, pretty much satisfying.

As usual, I enjoyed my stay here overall. It was my fourth year in a row staying here for a couple of weeks. It’s a perfect location for non-touristy Parisian living; the staff is generally welcoming; and the room is well-stocked with dishes etc. to make meals at home. The water machine downstairs offers free, cold filtered water (still and sparkling) and the AC in my room worked well. However, when I first arrived a man at the desk told me my accessibility needs were “not technical problems”; the woman who seemed to be in charge was understanding—she gave me a fan after a few days when I asked again—but kind of shrugged when I asked if she could procure a shower chair. I explained that I have fibromyalgia and therefore balance issues and that the chair the hotel provided last year was very useful so I didn’t slip and fall, but I was never given a chair this trip. That said, it still has a safe walk-in shower; I wore my rubber-bottom pool shoes for more stability. In addition, the washing machine (clothes) was broken most of my stay and took my money through the app (I did get it back through my bank). The desk folks were helpful in finding me a laundromat, though, and the technician, Jean, was very sweet.
