We checked in before 8:00 PM (already pre-registered online via app to ensure room would be ready) and proceeded to our room. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, it became apparent that the air conditioning was not functioning properly and the room was not cooling at all. We attempted to contact Reception several times by telephone, but our calls went unanswered. I then went to Reception in person and was informed by the receptionist on duty that a technician would arrive within approximately 10 minutes. More than 10 minutes passed, but no one arrived. My companion later returned to Reception and was advised by another receptionist to wait an additional 10–15 minutes. The technician eventually arrived at around 10:30 PM and began inspecting the room. By 11:00 PM, the issue remained unresolved, and no one could provide a clear estimate as to when it would be fixed, or whether it could be fixed at all. At that point, we requested alternative accommodation and asked to speak with the hotel Manager. Unfortunately, we were unable to speak with the Manager directly. We were later informed that the Manager had approved a transfer to a nearby hotel because the property was fully booked. However, the proposed hotel was also fully booked. Following this, the receptionist appeared uncertain about how to proceed and was unable to contact the Manager, who may have already retired for the evening. We were then advised that we could simply remain in the room for the night without charge and look for another hotel ourselves the following day. This was not an acceptable solution, and I insisted that the hotel arrange suitable alternative accommodation. After checking availability myself, I identified another Accor hotel with available rooms and suggested it to the staff. It took considerable additional time before arrangements were finalized, and we were not able to transfer to the new hotel until after 1:00 AM. As we had an early morning flight the following day, this ordeal resulted in significant sleep deprivation and unnecessary stress. It was particularly difficult for my companion, who suffers from severe chronic kidney disease, causing considerable discomfort and distress. What was most disappointing was not only the air-conditioning failure itself, but the lack of communication, delayed response, and absence of effective management support throughout the situation. The incident significantly affected our stay and left us with a very negative impression of the hotel’s service and guest care.

Warm friendly reception on arrival. Compact and clean room. Nicely decorated. You could see the top of the Eiffel Tour from our window. Such a comfy bed. Never had an issue getting to sleep. There is a train and metro near by but didn’t effect our sleep one bit. Great breakfast in the morning and well looked after by the staff. The best freshly squeezed orange juice I have ever had. Nice selection off dairy and cheese. Make your own pancakes and a selection of pastries with good coffee. Good location for exploring. Many nice restaurant near by to satisfy every taste. In my opinion the Cafe du Commerse was our favourite. Indulgent and special with great food and friendly staff. Would be on our list of places to stay when we come back to visit.
