Had a romantic 2 night stay at the hotel. Staff was helpful and pleasant with all assistance. Overall enjoyed everything and renovations at balcony where neatly refurbished.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were lucky to meet Sobria, who helped us with an early check-in and found us a fantastic room with a beautiful view. She was incredibly helpful and attentive to our request. Later, when my brother arrived, we continued to receive excellent service from her. Thank you very much for such a great experience!

The location was excellent for exploring but sadly that was the only positive. Check in took in excess of 30 minutes which was a little exasperating when we had been travelling for 8 hours with 2 children. The representative was new so it was not his fault but to have it confirmed we had interconnecting rooms which we had booked on a family offer then to be told they weren’t interconnecting but they were “side by side” wasn’t quite the same. This sounds minor but families with children will understand this then meant I slept with one child whilst the other adult slept with the other. Disappointing as I had written to them at the time of booking that one of my children has medical needs so it wasn’t exactly accommodating. They then tried to overcharge me the deposit for the 2 rooms which I corrected by showing my booking email. They confirmed that there was zero balance to pay when we checked out as all was paid in full at check in due to their error. Since checking out and retuning back home however they have taken an additional £500 out of my bank account. I have contacted them via email twice and the WhatsApp service but have not had any response as to when they will be returning this unauthorised payment so I will now have to issue a complaint through my bank. The rooms were not 4 star standard. Bathroom lovely and spacious but chipped drinking glasses in room. The door was peeling. Every day we had to request for the complimentary water and coffee to be replenished for both rooms. On our final evening housekeeping came to clean the room at 9:10pm. I’m not joking. The children were wanting to go to sleep. To add insult to injury, we had requested a late check out on our final day. The representation on the front desk confirmed we could have both rooms until 12pm which we were grateful for. At 8:30am on our final day a housekeeper knocked and entered the room without us even answering. I was aghast. My children were resting in bed and I was trying to rest myself ahead of a long day of travelling. The keys to one of the rooms did not allow us access after 10am. Another trip to find a representative to let us in to retrieve our belongings. Expectations were so far short which is why we were disappointment. At £300 a night for 2 rooms (3 night stay) we were envisaging a much sleeker service. When we arrived in Paris I received a WhatsApp from the concierge stating they looked forward to welcoming us and the offer of champagne welcome drink. Never materialised and I believe was actually only if you dined in their restaurant. Again expectations/communication seriously lacking. I would really appreciate someone from the hotel to follow this up. In the very least to obtain my unauthorised £500 charge back. I’ve sent bank statement of proof and to have no response is beyond disappointing.
