Good location and great breakfast. While we were there the elevators were atrocious and always down for maintenance, the pool was out of commission, and every drain in the unit sinks and tubs drained slow or overflowed. Good location for families and fully equipped kitchen but without basic essentials (salt, pepper, sugar, oil, complementary coffee/tea in the room, shampoo or conditioner) means you'll have to hit the store for all basic essentials you did not bring with you.

Fell short of expectations

No water on morning of our second day, with a small child this made getting ready to go out for the day very difficult. Advertised as having a swimming pool but this was not available during our stay. We booked the hotel as we wanted an indoor pool so it was disappointing and misleading that the Accor website did not mention it is out of service. Hallways to room smelt of smoke. Room itself was nice, a good size, clean and comfortable. A shame about the other areas which let things down.

Perfect stay ruined by inefficient & unprofessional staff.

Despite the water going off in the property for hours on Sunday, reception being impossible to make contact with and no information provided, and the toilet overflowing, despite the dishwasher soap dispenser door being missing and the air conditioning working only some of the time, this was STILL one of the best apartments we have stayed in. Lovely warm welcome by reception when we arrived very late. Spacious, well equipped 1 bed apartment with spectacular views on floor 25. We would happily live here! We were offered 4pm late check out at time of booking for €50. We jumped at it as I don't sleep well. The cleaning staff tried 4 times to get us to leave early & even reception suggested we go at 3 instead of 4!!!!! To totally finish off the way we were treated, we were stared at by staff when we were emptying & repacking our car in the excellent car park in order to find my glasses which had gone missing. One guy even phoned security on us?! We were polite and friendly to everyone, despite being pretty stressed out. We explained what we were doing but we were treated like thieves. I don't like continental bedding so I take my own pillows with me. The vehicle contained duvets, a portable oven, ice cream maker, Christmas decorations, a wheelchair & provisions for the next part of our trip. Yes we were heavily loaded but, we were made to feel like freaks. We were asked lots of questions about what we were doing & if we were residents at the Adagio. We had a rear view mirror parking tag. We were not given the names of the 3 20 somethings who interrogated us & looked at us as though we had 2 heads. We paid £750 for a 3 day stay and felt it was worth every penny. We would like to stay again, in the same room exactly. We should only have amazing happy memories of our stay but the staff, except 1, completely ruined the lasting impression. We are very disappointed.

Great option for families needing more space

We overall enjoyed our stay, and it suited our needs for space. The location was generally good. Within a 5-10 minute walk from some great restaurants and the Eiffel Tower. Public transport was close by. The apartment was cosy, with great bedding and towels. A lovely big tub and a comfy sleeper sofa. Good black-out shades. There were signs of wear and tear, but generally it was pretty good. Great views from the high floors. We had issues with the first and second apartment we were given, and I felt the staff should have handled the situation better and been more responsive.

Faulty bathroom not addressed

We raised with the hotel that our bath and shower were not draining. We did not receive an option to change rooms and the bath was not fixed during our stay. Consequently we could not take a shower or bath for the duration of our stay.
