Couldn’t find my reservation. Pokey rooms.

The hotel couldn’t find my reservation, sent me to a nearby Mercure, claiming I’d gone to the wrong hotel. That hotel also couldn’t find my reservation and sent me back to this hotel. Lo and behold they then found my reservation. I wasted an hour, late on a Sunday evening, and €40 in taxi fares. I asked the guy on the check in desk to tell the manager, so they could sort it the next day. Nothing. Very poor experience. The room I had was small and pokey. Looked like it not been refurbished in a while.

The hotel and reception was nice and modern. We booked 2 rooms between 5 adults that we could join into one. They were nice clean rooms, it had tea/coffee supplies which was very nice at the end of the day. They had a water filter machine near reception which was helpful for refilling water bottles. The shower didn't have a barrier so water would fall onto the floor and make it a slipping hazard. The shower head would also fall down and face the wall because it was too big or the joint was too loose to hold it up. The fridge had a bottle of apple juice on the day of check in, the next day it was gone which was odd. Nobody from our party had used or taken it. We had to ask for tea multiple times because it wasn't refilled and the reception weren't able supply us with anything satisfactory in it's place. As silver accor members we weren't offered welcome drinks on the app or in person at reception like we had for other places we stayed while on the trip which was disappointing.
