At first I genuinely liked this place. It has decent rooms and good location within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and restaurants, until we noticed bug bites all down our arms after the first couple days. Disgusting and terrible experience.
Not the best stay..

Nice location, close to the Eiffel Tower and the metro, as well as grocery stores and restaurants/cafes etc. The breakfast was simple, but decent. (Could have had more "normal" food, a bit too much sweets/cakes) Simple and decent hotel, got new towels every day, otherwise decent cleanliness. We called to double check that there was air conditioning in the room, as it was reported to be over 40 degrees in Paris that week - we were told that of course they had it... THEY DIDN'T! The rooms are equipped with a completely normal ventilation system which was of no help in that heat. On the beds there was a disposable plastic sheet under the cloth sheet which became very sticky during the night due to the heat and no AC. The fire alarm went off at night (2 times), no information or evacuation assistance from hotel staff. When I was going to pack my suitcase in the morning on departure I discovered that my shopping bags were missing from the room. We had made sure the door was locked every time we left the room, so no one other than the cleaning staff had access to our room. The receptionist couldn't help me as the boss wasn't at work yet, so I had to go home without this being clarified. Have sent the hotel an email, but have not received a helpful reply. The rooms lacked a safe, fridge and wardrobe. Quite small rooms.

We stayed here for 4 nights and the room was really tiny like others have reported. The AC barely worked and the bathroom was really tiny. If you are claustrophobic then avoid this hotel at all cost. The elevator takes forever to work and we decided to take stairs instead. Our room had nothing in it. If you are from the US, you are used to of amentites like a bar soap, shampoo, refrigerator, clock, microwave, iron, paper towel etc and you get none. So bring your essentials The only good side about this hotel was the location. The staffs were unfriendly. Oh and they will only check in when it is 2pm. We were at the hotel around 1:35 pm from a long flight and had to wait for another 25 mins to get out room keys. Will I come back here again? Definitely not!!
Do not stay here

I am staying here now and what a joke. My air conditioning does not work so they showed me other rooms and none were working either. I asked for a refund so I could stay somewhere else and they said Paris is hot ... :) I live in Hong Kong Paris is not hot. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It's dirty and hot. I asked them to find me a floor fan which they did but please anyone considering staying here... DO NOT. I still have 4 nights left which is ashame as I can't sleep in this small closed in hot box at night.

After staying in Ibis hotels on a number of city breaks previously and finding them to be comfortable, good for value for money and just what was needed for a short break, we were extremely disappointed with this one. Firstly, the room was exceptionally small, however, this does appear to be the norm in Paris. The bathroom was unusably small with no window or extractor fan. The toilet was squashed in the corner and you had to be a contortionist to be able to wash your feet in the shower! Seriously though, you couldn't lift your arm without elbowing the wall and we're both slim, I dread to think how large people manage. The room was advertised as having air con, however, the only way I can describe the air con is like being coughed on by an asthmatic mouse. Pair this with 36c heat and the room was just unbearable! We asked to move rooms but was told our room was the same as all the others as it was 'typically Parisian A/C'....needless to say, we left the Ibis after our first night. On two occasions we complained at reception, along with a queue of 3 or 4 others on both occasions that were also have issues with their stay. Avoid at all costs if you value space, comfort or a good night's sleep! Additionally, the location isn't great. Very quiet and much more happening over near the Louvre.
