Water was dripping from the light when taking a shower. Check in agent advised we were being upgraded to a room overlooking the Eiffel Tower. When we got to the room that was not the case. It was was also a queen bed and we had requested two twins. Also my debit card was charged for a third room when we only booked two rooms.

I was doubly charged for the rooms, which I had to manually ask the reception to reverse. They were not least apologetic and kept arguing that money is only “pre noted” and not taken. Every bank works differently and they did not understand for a second what I was trying to say. This left my whole day ruined.

We had a very disappointing stay. Cash went missing from our room after housekeeping serviced it, and the in-room safe was also broken, which made the situation even more concerning. When we reported the issue, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful, and we felt the matter was not taken seriously. This experience has left us very disappointed and concerned about the hotel’s security and service.

Clean and comfy room and good breakfast. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful but just beware of the tax you have to pay for your room on arrival
