HONEST_TRAVEL_PLUS Couples - TripAdvisor review

I booked a junior suite and was excited reading the location and being part of the Accor chain. The building presents more like a large hostel style hotel. The public areas are dated and people lying on sofas while waiting for rooms. The reception staff are friendly enough with good level of English. Taxis from airport are fixed at €65 which is good enough. The junior suite is nothing like I imagined and disappointing. Small and dated being over priced. I would say if you are seeking basic accommodation in good location and you can find a standard room for €95 a night then the hotel will tick all buttons. If you want a little more comfort and willing to pay more then don’t stay at this hotel. There is no concierge / trip desk at hotel which is a real shame as great opportunity for hotel to add income. Staff are happy enough to give tips but not ideal. Would I return = NO

A fantastic hotel, it has the best location in Paris two blocks from the Eiffel Tower, very comfortable rooms, everything very clean and perfect. We'll be back!

Bad reception, poor hospitality at the breakfast counter, told the waiters multiple times that I will like to place an order for an omelette and 20mins later I asked back and was told that I need to pay before they can make it for me. Had to literally go out of the sitting and place order at the counter so they can ask me to sign and give the room number before they can give me a stupidest 5euro omelette!!! So much for cheapness. Was held hostage for 1hr so I can get my breakfast on a working day and not attend work instead. The room had no electricity and phone did not work at check in. Room no: 805 for your reference. Had to go to the opposite room and call for help. Took another 30mins to come and turn on the electrical as the master switch of the room up in the drop ceiling was accidentally turned off. WOW!!! The fitness center is shambles. Equipment works fortunately but yoga mat is from 1950’s torn apart filthy dirty and black!
