Hotel is nicely decorated and comfortable. What makes the difference are the little things that the staff have put in place to make the stay extra special. It is such a great pleasure to be greeted at the arrival and departure with large smiles and friendly conversations. A restaurant chain in the US had the tag line “when you’re here, you’re family”, well, this hotel could surely use this exact tag line.

Always a pleasure to stay at Nicolas and his team’s hotel. Very welcoming and the quality of service is impeccable. Rooms are small but that’s enough for a relatively short term stay. Breakfast in the room is copiions and good.

Hotel is OK, no major problem about it, but it's very noisy from door to door and people tend to make a lot of noise at night in those room at least the weekend.

Cramped and in need of maintenance

The room was extremely short on space and in need of maintenance. The concrete floor on the balcony is pitted and in need of repair. The light fittings next to the bed are broken and need repair. The bathroom sink is broken and needs the mechanism for the plug replaced. The bathroom is extremely cramped and in urgent need of deep cleaning and replacement of shower head and drain covers. Room service did not replenish drinking water during my entire stay, and the bath robe was removed and not replaced. Overall, the location was convenient but serious maintenance and housekeeping upgrades are required to return the hotel to a reasonable standard.

If you are looking for a hotel outside of Paris this is ok - a few minutes walk from the Metro. It’s a clean, comfy no frills hotel. We were there to sleep and nothing else so worked perfectly for us.

Good location for my office

The stay was comfortable along with the courteous hotel staff. It is better that if hotel can confirm the amneties that they provide with the room as there was no dental kit and shoe polish available in the room. When I asked about this on reception, I got only the shoe polish but no dental kit was available. Also, there was no moisturizer available in the bathroom as it is generally included. If this information is available in advance then the traveler can do the packing accordingly. Further, these things are generally included by default with a room stay in 4 star hotel. It was my second stay in this hotel and as usual the breakfast was below satisfaction. No fresh juices (only packed ones), no vegetarian options in hot meals and no omlettes.

Staff were very polite and welcoming but hotel was not nice and room not great. No AC in room which was too hot. Room so small difficult to move. Bathroom too small and shower smelt.

It was bad. I was waken up in the middle of the night (1am) by the fire alarms for smoke caused by hotel staff overcooking. Bad situation that got all guests in panic mode. After that could not sleep well all night.

When we tried to check in our reservation information had been lost, and even though there were similar rooms available, the two men at the reception stared at the screen for at least 10 minutes instead of finding us a room and checking us in. The old elevator took quite some time in arriving and opened onto a very dirty corridor. The pictures I made are available if you are interested in mailing me at ed… I had already posted them on Google Maps, but they were deleted. Same goes for pictures of the dirty bathroom, with left over hair and mould. It smelled of canalisation too. I could listen to my neighbour's phone conversation and did not sleep very well. I have stayed at hostels and 1 Star Hotels that have not been this disgusting. I will never return and have spead the message to my colleauges at Safic Alcan.

My experience at Hôtel Mercure Paris Malakoff Parc des Expositions was good. The reception was very kind and polite. The breakfast was good, with breads, yogurt, fruits and coffee/juice. The room was cleaned and organized but the air conditioning was not working. Only in vent mode in 24ºC that is hot for me, where you can't open the windows to get fresh air.

I arrived late in the evening and was put in a converted shed at the end of the garden. Flat roof with rain pounding down. Got wet going to it and to and form a very average breakfast. Location okay and I suppose by Paris standards not a total rip off.

I booked and paid more for a privilege room with balcony. The room did not have a balcony but when i explained i was told no more rooms - why book online with poor data then. Stayed put, but then shower had no door so flooded entire bathroom. Ordered room service and food was poor.

Votre réservation : DRZBBGGJ ======================== I am staying at Hôtel Mercure Paris Malakoff Parc des Expositions du samedi 15/10/2016 au jeudi 20/10/2016 I have arrived today evening to the hotel and been schoked to see my room 68. I may tell you IBIS Hotels’ rooms are much better. First and foremost was disappointed to nitice my gold card expired on 6/2016 and was renewed whereas you keep regularly to meail me about your company and activities. I am very surprised to see entrance of the hotel, reception and how name Mercure was given to this hotel? This is not an offense, this is a friendly statement. Deeply disappointed with room 68. Tried to reach service 2424 but not reachable, reception says not available on week-end. What sort of customers service not working on week-end? I have asked the receptionist (only person at sight) to transfert me to any Mercure, Novotel,Sofitel in city center his answer was : …. I am working in replacement of someone and have not idea how this may be done and if may be done. You have to speak to collaborator arriving on 23:00 hrs …………. SUGGEST THAT YOU TRY THE WC : WHEN SITTING MY KNEES AND HEAD ARE ON THE WALL !!!!!..... SO NARROW THE TOILET COVER IS NOT WELL FIXED NO HOOK OR SIMILAR TO HANG TO TOWEL .... GOOD NEW IDEAS !!!!! No ammunities in the bathroom even spare soap !! FOURTH night and bed sheets NOT changed!! Again and again very very disappointed and unsatisfied. Not worth for the price of Euro 130 !!!.... For me no more Mercure !!!....
