Staff on reception were lovely. Housekeeping were rude and told us off for being in our room. Sheets had stains. Some days we didn’t have enough towel and had to ring up for the missing ones. It was an alright stay.

We had a fabulous stay! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was spacious and clean with a surprise view of the Eiffel Tower from our window! Breakfast was a highlight with so many wonderful options. We found the hotel in general to be very quiet and up on the 8th floor no noise from the street, unlike other places we’ve stayed in Paris. Location is a bit out of the way, but a metro station is right outside the front door and everything is within a 20 minute metro ride, so if you don’t mind a little bit of travel, it’s a great spot. No complaints!

We liked staying at the Novotel Right next to a metro stop, getting around was easy. A bit away from the main centre but not too much. Mobility has to be good to get through the metro. The breakfast was good. The toilet does not have a wash basin and you have to traverse the whole room to get to the bathroom, which was the biggest downside ! The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. We left a pair of shorts in the room with €50 in it!

After the hotel staff finish their shifts, only one employee is left to manage a hotel with around 100 rooms. As a result, I experienced several situations that I had never encountered before at a four-star hotel. On the first evening, I requested an extra blanket. The staff member told me that she could not provide one because she did not know where the blankets were kept. Her attitude was also quite unpleasant. I asked her to write down both the reason why my request could not be fulfilled and her name, and she did so. On the second evening, I requested additional towels. The staff member asked why I needed extra towels. I explained that I had not requested housekeeping service. He then told me, in a rather scolding manner, that for hotel safety reasons, guests are not allowed to refuse housekeeping for two consecutive days. I personally prefer not to have anyone enter my room because I once had cash stolen from the safe in a hotel in Paris. Therefore, I chose not to request housekeeping during my stay. This is the first time I have ever stayed at a four-star hotel where I felt I was being reprimanded simply for declining housekeeping service. It was a very uncomfortable experience.

when we were in paris, the temperature was about 40 degrees outside and this hotel had the best air conditioner so we were able to survive.

The staff at the hotel is great, very friendly and profession. But the overall style, quality, space of the hotel is way below what you would expect from novotel hotels in a big city. Room large enough but certainly not luxury design. Actually quite basic. Breakfast was good but in the same room as the reception. Gym open only as of 8:00 in the morning making impossible to use if you need to start business meeting at 9:00 and on top is smaller than the smallest room. Calling it a gym frankly is misleading. So again great staff they really deserve a plause but the hotel should be classified max 3.5 star. Certainly not 4.

It was a lovely stay at Novotel 14th arr. It's close to the metro station, tram and bus stop. Good foods nearby as well. The beds were comfortable and the room was large for three people. We had a nice time there. Would book it again for a visit to Paris.

Spacy rooms was the best with the kindness from the staff. Hotel was clean but sewage smell coming out of the bathroom spoils the experience. If you travel for work rooms have decent space and conditions to work but reception, too small crowded and noisy is out of question for any meeting

We stayed as a family of 4 in a "Suite" at the Novotel Suites Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The room wasn't really a suite as both bed and kids beds where on the same space but the room size was adequate. The room was modern, clean and in good condition with a nespresso coffee maker and complimentary coffee. There was a water filter in the floor providing fresh cold water. The breakfast was excellent, of good quality, and we experienced zero waiting time. The location, although far from the touristic spots, was convenient as the M13 stop was right outside the hotel, needing only 15min to reach Invalides and champs elysees. Next to the hotel is a decent playground (important for the kids), and a really nice fast food joint (dr. food) Afternoon hostess was super polite, pleasant and helpful. -- What was completely off base was the room design. Toilet was a separate room (which seems to be a trend) but on the completely different room corner from the bathroom which made the process of one washing hands challenging. Whoever designed it has never worked in hospitality before. Secondly, the shower door opened right on the towel hanger, which meant that finishing the shower one had to exit the shower wet, walk around the bathroom to grab the toilet, all at the same time wetting the floor, making it dangerous to slip. Again, whoever made this arrangement is a security hazard and the hotel manager really dropped the ball. Thirdly, although as mentioned afternoon hostess was polite, the morning hostess was rude and condescending and really has no business working front desk welcoming guests.

As for the bathroom configuration, the separation between the toilet and bathroom is a common feature in many French hotels and is often valued by families and groups sharing the room. We nevertheless appreciate your perspective on the room design. Concerning your experience at reception, we were pleased to read your compliments about our afternoon colleague. This hotel is close to metro line M13. Its exit #3 is just right next to the hotel entrance. So it's convenient if you take metro to other places. The travel time to major tourist attractions is just 30-45min by metro which is a reasonable time. The room is clean and with daily housekeeping. It has a comfort bed and pillows. Highly recommended.
