over priced, unsafe rooms and incompetent staff

Very small rooms, no cupboard to put clothes or even a bench to put a suitcase, only 2 coat hangers on the wall available. They charge 15€ per day to put car in outside car park (hotel is located rurally and way outside city centre). Bed sheet was not clean on arrival (large brown stain). I received another room. While settled in the room and door is locked from the inside, another visitor suddenly enters my room with a card received at reception. According staff, this is caused by a computer malfunction. Why does lock not work? Day 2 morning, I was welcomed at breakfast with my room number but under a different name. Staff had still not corrected room allocation. Day 2 evening, the room had not been made up. However, staff had left a card to apologise for day one and to invite for a drink. When informing reception, they offered new towels but no attempt was made to correct the room situation. On day 1 and 3, two large towels and 3 shower mats were available, no normal towels. While informing reception on checkout they inform that there should have been 2 normal towels. Conclusion: overpriced at 400 € for 3 nights during the week and outside holiday period (tiny room, continental breakfast, car park), rooms cannot be secured at night, staff is utterly incompetent.

Arrived to find out that car park is at extra €15 or you can park "in between the trees". Remote control for the TV was not working properly. Poor breakfast menu with no cereal for kids.

Nice stay and warm welcome at the reception

We stayed for 3 nights without breakfast and were positively surprised by the quality of the beds and the overall space in the room. We slept like a baby and all the basic needs are there (Large TV, shower gel and shampoo,.....) and if you are looking for a basic overnight stay for a small budget than this is the place to be. We were welcomed by the receptionist (ps the guy was already a bit older) quite late but had a warm welcome and all the explanations (like where to park) were given with the smile. It was our first experience in a budget hotel and the receptionist could definitely work in a 4 or 5 star hotel due to his kindness and helpful attitude. Thank you very much.

APPALLING EVEN FOR BUDGET HOTEL

I’m still at this awful hotel with my daughter and granddaughter. Thankfully it’s only for one night especially as the hotel is ignoring my concerns: Tv not working Bedside lights not working but a feeble night light under the bed 3rd single bed as a pull down bed in a wardrobe so no actual usable wardrobe- this was not disclosed when booking as otherwise would have gone elsewhere No bed side light available for pull down bed Only towels for 2 people but there were 3 of us Toilet brush stuck in holder with faeces stained toilet paper clearly seen in the top bristles of the brush Shower door handle fitted back to front so handle on outer side of shower door. Luckily I’m tall enough to reach the gap between the top of the door and the ceiling to open it. A shorter person would have been trapped. 1 very flat pillow for each person. Even a staff member said to me “this place is no good for anything but one night”, when I complained.
