Great budget hotel!

This is a budget hotel however we found it to be excellent. It is increfibly clean, the rooms are small but the beds are so comfy. The bathroom is small but nice and the shower is excellent. Handsoap and shower gel/hairwash is provided. They provide towels and there are lots of sockets and charging points. There is heating/aircon which was easy to control. The breakfast is continental and there is lots of choice of food, plenty of juice, tea, coffee and other hot drinks. The staff were lovely. We had to check in at the Mercure hotel next door but their staff were excellent and it was no bother at all. A great budget hotel that I would happily stay at again.

There is no reception in the hotel, so you have to go to the Mercure hotel next door. But also there, there is no permanent person at the reception. We arrived after 8PM and had to wait outside around 10 minutes before someone showed up because the person was working somewhere else. Also for checkout in the morning, we had to wait for 5 minutes before someone showed up. It would be nice if the hotel could offer a discount at the nearby parking.

Regarding your comment about parking, unfortunately we do not have a partnership with the nearby parking facility, and therefore we are unable to offer discounted rates. Vuile matras. Zeepdispenser was leeg

Beste Conny Hartelijk dank voor uw feedback. Fijn om te horen dat u tevreden was over de ligging van ons hotel. We vinden het echter erg jammer dat uw ervaring niet volledig aan uw verwachtingen voldeed. Onze excuses voor de vuile matras en de lege zeepdispenser – dit hoort uiteraard niet voor te komen. We nemen uw opmerkingen zeer serieus en zullen dit intern bespreken met ons housekeepingteam om herhaling te voorkomen. Kamer zeeeer klein, ontbijt extra 15 euro te betalen en zeer basic. Maar hebben we ook om 2 uur ‘s nachts brand alarm gehad en er was niemand om te communiceren. Wij stonden allemaal inde kou. Niemand was aanwezig in het hotel. Alleen 1 persoon in het hotel Mercurius ernaast. Er werd ons niet gezegd wat te doen. Of ons op te vangen. Ik zal nooit meer in dit hotel boeken. Ik raad niemand aan om daar zijn vakantie door te brengen.

We begrijpen dat de kamer voor u te klein was en dat het ontbijt niet voldeed aan uw wensen. Wat betreft het brandalarm en de situatie ’s nachts, willen wij onze oprechte excuses aanbieden voor het gebrek aan communicatie en begeleiding. Dit is uiteraard niet de service die wij nastreven. Wij nemen uw opmerkingen zeer serieus en zullen dit incident grondig onderzoeken om dergelijke situaties in de toekomst te vermijden. We betreuren het dat u ons hotel niet zou aanbevelen, maar hopen dat we u in de toekomst misschien alsnog kunnen overtuigen van onze verbeterde dienstverlening.
