Well located hotel with a secure underground car park - not operated by Accor. Rooms and public areas have been recently refurbished so everything looks good. Opinions split on how succesful the update to the public areas have been. As a business traveller think the number of spaces available as work stations is an excellent use of space. I will actvely seek out such a set up when undertaking business trips in the UK. My wife does not agree. She feels that the bar area is sterile and is not at all inviting. As a tourist she would seek out a more convivial hotel. one final word of warning, there are no shelves, just hanging space in the bedrooms on which to place your clothes. Excellent breakfasts, with lots of choice catering for all preferences. Welcoming and professional staff that were a credit to the hotel.

I really loved the water fountain, we all did. The fountain offers sparkling water. Didn’t check the swimming pool. Maybe are you thinking of adding a fitness room ?

While I have no complaints about the hotel's location, position, or food, my experience with the receptionist was unfortunately the worst I have encountered in my last 12 months of traveling and staying in over 20 different hotels from various brands. First, I found the policy requiring payment for breakfast in advance to be quite unusual, especially since other hotels typically charge it to the room, utilizing the credit card on file as a guarantee. More troubling, however, was the lack of basic customer service during my checkout. The receptionist did not ask about my stay, nor did she offer a simple farewell or wish me a good day. This lack of engagement left me questioning the hotel's commitment to putting customers first. Overall, while the hotel's amenities were satisfactory, the service experience fell short of expectations.

The rooms are poorly cleaned. Stains on the floor and restroom. Good location and a good breakfast buffet.
