Everything was fine. Clean, comfortable small room was fine for one person.

Friendly staff and excellent location for someone who travels by train. But no idea why the price was double from the price in Ibis budget Antwerp, on a work week tuesday evening. For that price I can normally go to Mercure or Novotel brand. Room was small (couldn’t walk around the bed towards the window without having to walk sideways), only a few channels on the TV were working and the ‘bread’ and croissants at breakfast were so light it felt like eating air. And the fruit juice was sour, so I doubt the packed inside the machine was fresh or the machine needs to be cleaned.

When we arrived we discovered the shower was not separate - but in the bedroom. This was not depicted on any of the pictures or in the description prior to booking, and I would not have booked if I had known. The bed was not comfortable and I had aches after the second night. Also, the housekeeping staff entered our room without even knocking. We had to change rooms minutes after arrival as our room smelt strongly of smoke, the one positive thing was were were allocated a new room quickly.

* De airco op de kamer maakte een storend geluid. Dit werd opgelost door de schakelaar van 'hoog' op 'laag' te zetten. Misschien is het aangewezen dat het hotel dit standaard doet. * In het aanbod van televisiezenders ontbreken enkele gebruikelijke zenders zoals CNN. De lijst van beschikbare zenders die naast de televisie hangt stemt helemaal niet meer overeen met de werkelijke zenders.
