The experience was not the best one. Hotel accepts pets, which is fine for me, but we had a dog barking in the next room for more than 2 hours and we couldnt rest. Owners leave the dog in the room and go away, that should not be accepted. Vending machines on lobby were almost all out of service. Good location next to train station Early checkin was accepted, that os positive point also.

We always choose Ibis Budget Centrum Station for our stays in Brugge. It’s a really convenient and sensibly priced hotel. For us it’s the best we could choose. We choose this hotel because we arrive in an easy to find, inexpensive car park right by the hotel lift. The lift takes us up to the hotel entrance so carrying cases is really easy. The dedicated check in staff do a great job to welcome us and get us on our way upstairs to our room. The rooms are comfortable and have everything needed for a perfect stay. The double beds are king size and comfortable, even on the top floor the shower works well. This all results in a good night’s sleep for us. For us it’s a simple and reliable solution to the question, “where shall we stay in Brugge” The answer is easy, the Ibis Budget Centrum Station Brugge!

Great for train station and an easy walk to Bruges centre. As in the name, rooms are budget friendly and budget sized. Rooms was a bit warm and aircon control fiddly. Breakfast was ok too. .

Whenever I stay in Bruges (once or twice a year, if I can), I spread stay at the Ibis Budget. It is perfect for a brief stay. Once you’ve arrived and the hassle of driving is over, you can leave your car in the multi-storey station carpark and the whole of Bruges’ city centre is within walking distance (and just walking around the streets of Bruges is part of the pleasure of visiting). I have always found the staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Check-in is quick and simple (you can do it online but I prefer to do it face to face at the desk.) The rooms are always extremely clean and tidy. I’m always amused by the clever minimalist design; the rooms are very compact but have everything you need for a one or two night stay. Sometimes I walk into town for breakfast but this time we had the continental buffet breakfast at the hotel, which had a very satisfactory selection of breads, croissants, cereals, meats, cheeses, jam, etc. plus a pot of hot scrambled eggs (which might be a new addition?). Hot drinks and juices. All serve-yourself, as much as you want. Quite honestly, staying at this hotel has become and integral part of visiting Bruges for me, and the price is so reasonable (leaves you more money for chocolate and waffles!)
