It was mostly ok. I had 2 issues. During night there was loud sound coming from the roof (like air condition fan). Secondly, two beds kept moving as I turned in my sleep. These 2 things kept waking me up.

Clean, good breakfast and great staff.

Very good. Your staff are your best asset. Pleasant and helpful. Only one poor observation. I booked a disabled room. Bathroom brilliant with a wet room. However on one side the bed was jammed against the wall. Not good if you can only transfer from a wheelchair on one side. As the bathroom is so huge you could afford to take some room from there and make the bedroom slightly bigger.

Great stay at an excellent location

We’ve stayed at the hotel a number of times before, and as always we had a great stay from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The room had all you need, the breakfast is great, as is the bar. But it’s the staff that make you feel special, keep up the great work and service.

Not quite what it says on the tin

The hotel is excellently situated and being able to park motorbikes within tne courtyard shared with the Novotel gives significant reassurance to their owners. The hotel is clean and well maintained although our room, 235, did seem a bit dated. Thecstaff are brilliant, friendly, welcoming and good humoured like old friends. The website quotes air conditioning in the rooms, we had an air con panel and ceiling unit but it only provided heating and fan function. The menu option was either blocked or faulty. The website also mentions and I quite "Meal times throughout your stay means the chance to discover the culinary stops of our ibis restaurants, ready to receive you 7 days a week, 365 days a year, every night open at least 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m." however when we asked to eat there on the night of the 6th of May as it was clearly open and quite busy one night we were told it was onoy for groups and not individuals.

Overall a good experience, lovely staff and good location. Only let down by tired looking room, and cramped toilet.

Great location, little bit dated now

Have stayed here many times pre pandemic this was first visit back. The hotel is in a great location a short walk (10 mins max) to main square, underground car parking could benefit from refresh of paint work and definitely replace the single beds as if you move the mattress moves but the base doesn’t!

Central located

Hotel is fine, good location near centre. Parking close by. Rooms a bit small but OK for a short stay. Only, disappointment was breakfast. We had driven across Europe over two weeks, this was the worst by far, but luckily there are a few good cafes within easy walk.

Dear Martyn, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent experience. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our convenient location. However, we are sorry that our breakfast was not to your satisfaction. Despite the selection of options that are all carefully chosen by our chef so as to please our guests, we are constantly trying to improve the variety and quality of food items that we offer and would welcome any suggestions on your next stay. We hope to welcome you back. Best wishes, Ariane SAMAEY, General Manager

Good Location but rooms too small

Not as per my expectation as rooms were too small and also Slanted roof whic makes it too small. No simple room amenities like water kettle/ fridge. There was no ventilation in toilet and it was congested too. I have stayed in other IBIS hotels and know what to expect but I will not recommend this one.

Dear Anurag. Thank you for leaving us this review of your recent stay. While we are pleased that our location met your requirements, we are sorry that you felt that your room did not meet your expectation. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any issues at the time so that we can find a suitable solution. We do appreciate your feedback and your comments have been noted; be assured that we will put your remarks forward for consideration when making further improvements. We hope that you will allow us the opportunity of providing you with an improved stay in future. Best regards, Ariane SAMAEY, General Manager

Acceptable for a short stay

The location is nice - just a perfect walking distance to the city center. Breakfast was decent with plenty of choices. Major disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. When we arrived the floor was dusty and full of long hairs and defiantly looked like the room hasn't been properly cleaned. Since we arrived somewhat late in the day, we at least hoped that the room will be cleaned the next day, however that didn't happen. Then we made a complaint to the staff at the reception desk but nothing has changed and they didn't even offer an apology.

Dear Marko, Thank you for taking the time to review your visit. While we are pleased that you appreciated our convenient location, we regret that your recent stay at our hotel didn't entirely meet all your expectations. We are sorry if our usual high standards were not met and apologise for the inconvenience. We will be sure to address your feedback with our housekeeping and reception teams to ensure we deliver the service expected. We hope we may have the occasion to welcome you back for an improved experience. Kindest regards, Ariane SAMAEY, General Manager

Nice Weekend Trip To Brugge

Generally its a great location to stay. Short walk from the centre of town and good value. On the downside the parking is underground and it is a bit of a hike with no trolleys for the baggage. And there's an occasional smell of drains when it rains heavily. You'd be hard pushed to find better value though.

Should be called Ibis Budget

Having stayed in a lot of hotels from the Accor chain, including different types of Ibis, this is the first time I got disappointed. Location is good but the rooms are so small that I would have expected this hotel to be called an Ibis Budget.

Dirty room

Traveling4Bizplus TripAdvisor review

The room was not clean as I would expect. There were dead bugs in the room and it was poorly maintained. Also some hair on the bed. The hotel is not so keen on solving issues and would just through them back at you. From my experience, with Accor hotels, you know what you will get and that also includes poor service and poor housekeeping.

Second to one location! Great location!!! :-)

Hi! You are staying very close to the very center of Bruge :-) Within a few steps (that is, if you do not mind walking a short distance) you will reach the Grand Market. Please do look around whilst going there because you'll pass some nice restaurants and shops. Please do not hesitate to go right or left when you like the vieuw: at the end, the Grand Market is always nearby. 'Grand Market' during covid time, imagine: one rather large free space with a vieuw at the Belfort Of Bruge and the City Hall of Bruge, The Great Museum of Bruge and so on... Enjoy The Best of The Best Belgian Fries wright in front of the Belfort of Bruge upon this very market place! Horses & their drivers will you take you to some parts of the City. You will find a very important statue upon the Grand Market of 'Jan Breydel & Pieter De Koninck'. Please google 'Guldensporenslag' and you will understand - something about beeing free and fighthing for it during the Middle Ages: Heroism you will only find here in Europe...
