Good Stay but very busy with workers refurbishing.

Good location for exploring Bruges. Slight inconvenience due to number of workmen refurbishing Ibis and all facilities located in neighbouring Novotel. Our major concern was how workmen could access our room without us being present or any notice given that this was going to be done. I feel it would have been polite to notify guests about the refurbishment work going on at the Ibis and access rooms when guest were in them.

Reception counter and breakfast room closed permanently in the hotel, phone and heating not at all working, some staff without problem-solving attitude and making up stories that the deterioration of services would be temporary only.

We understand how important a warm and functional room is, especially during the winter months. Our goal is always to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests, and it seems we fell short in this instance. We are looking into the matter regarding the heating to ensure that our rooms provide the warm refuge expected during the colder seasons. Additionally, we regret to learn about the absence of our reception services. As part of our new concept, all food, beverage, and reception services have been centralized at the Novotel hotel directly opposite ours in the same courtyard to improve efficiency and guest experience. We understand this change may have caused confusion, and we will strive to communicate this more clearly to our guests. We also acknowledge the issues you faced with cleanliness in the bathroom and the presence of fungus. Please be assured that we have a rigorous daily cleaning protocol in place, and we will reinforce our housekeeping service to prevent such instances in the future. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Finally, as an esteemed Silver member of our ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme, we understand your expectations for recognition and the little details that make a stay special, like a welcome drink. It is disappointing to learn we did not meet these expectations, and for this, we sincerely apologize. Well located, poor customer service

Very well located at Brugge Centrum but a very poor customer experience:: no desk or customer service at the hotel (we need to cross the road to the Novotel to get customer service). As a All Accor customer, it was supposed to have a welcome drink (bottle water) and I didn't. At Novotel, the drinks are very expensive (2 coffees, 9 €).

Well located for a brief visit to Bruges

Because the hotel is in central Bruges it is comparatively expensive for the level of comfort offered. It is a poor relation to the Novotel that shares the same site. We would have preferred the Novotel but it was too rich for our budget. Both hotels benefit from the publicly operated underground car park, and this is the primary reason we chose to stay here for our stopover en route to Germany by car.

A family of four, two rooms. First of all, we had heating, we had to go to reception where they told us that they were doing work on the AC so didn’t work. It was freezing. The bathroom is DISCUSTING. I’m attaching pictures. Very grotty. The hotel is VERY dated and they don’t take care of it at all. The walls have marks all over them, so do the bed sheets. You have to walk across the square to the Novotel for breakfast and they let you in even though there is no where to sit! Would never go here again, I wouldn’t pay more than 30€ for these rooms.
