Kenny A Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Previously had a better experience here but due to changes this visit was very poor. I do not like having accommodation in one bio and walking to another for meals and drinks. The whole building was not friendly and is now basically an annex of Novotel hotel which is next door and far better and accommodating. Do not recommend this place whilst it is being renovated. Accor should be advising people of these renovations prior to their bookings.

If you're on a really low-budget trip, this hotel could work for you, as the location is good. But if you're not on a low-budget trip, well, to put it frankly, it's a bad hotel. The rooms are tiny and very dated. To adjust the heat, you have to crawl under a desk and twist a metal screw with your fingers. The hallways are very noisy. The road is right beneath most windows. Our hair drier didn't work. The shower head fell off the tube. Also, the Ibis has no amenities. Its guests check in across a courtyard, at the Novotel, eat breakfast at the Novotel, ask questions at the Novotel, etc. There is no one working at the Ibis. It's really just a terrible hotel, and I've stayed at thousands of hotels on six continents. I'm really surprised, actually, that Accor (the parent company) would have such an awful property. But again, if you traveling on a low budget, and don't mind these problems, it could work for you.

We asked at reception if we could get a cup of coffee and we were rudely told that " Can't you see that the bar is no longer there and if you want a coffee, go across to Novotel and get one there" This is the worst Accor stop I've ever experienced.

Hotel in middle of a lot of work ,no air con , rooms very hot and unable to control heating you should make customers aware of this b4 they arrive

Well located but not like other Ibis

Hotel was very well located and with a public park very close. The only good side was the breakfast, room was very small, there was a air conditioning-heat pump that could be used as heater as well but was switched off, wc in bathroom was in a wrong position and use it is hard, no heating in bathroom, heating in the room was only an electric one under the window and it was without regulation because somebody took out the thermostat knob and put it on maximum, I had to move it in a middle position to get a suitable heating, lighting was very poor, the bed was uncomfortable....
