PROS: Nuchanat ('SEA') was friendly and extremely helpful during Check-in, assigning an excellent room and assisting me in making arrangements for a departing ferry. She was also helpful in addressing a few minor in-room corrections required. The hotel location was excellent for accessing local area attractions. The lobby and common areas were well-kept, clean, and inviting. Breakfast and the restaurant were excellent! Housekeeping was on-target and excellent (Thanks 'Ji'). CONS: None

good value for money - the room is spacious and clean. there are one coffee shop/bar and one restaurant. It is not fancy but good enough if you just need a place for a rest and spend most of your time outside.

The lobby is really nice. The rest of the Hotel has a lot of 'dated' and 'used' features; stained marble, dirty unreachable spots. My wife found the bathroom not clean enough, after talking to staff this was fixed. The staff is really nice and attentive.

The welcome at the hotel was great with Oat serving us. I stayed at 1601,which was wonderful but the bathroom was really hot as it faced the sun. It took a lot of air conditioning to bring down the temperature. I suggest blinds for the bathroom. I later moved to 1005,which was another wonderful room. I would like to talk about my experience ordering from the pillow menu for both occasions. Both times, it seemed that staff do not know much about the menu? I had to explain a few times.yes I dialed for room service which is the wrong place to call, but I would think that they would be able to know about the pillow menu. The front desk was more knowledgeable but still I got calls to ask about the pillows I wanted even after I explained. I thought the pillow menu was good, which had the pillows numbered 1 to 6,so it would be easier for staff when I said 4 and 6 but they didn't understand, so I just repeated the pillows I wanted. In 1005,I used the phone to call for the pillows, but the phone smelled badly. This is quite unacceptable hygiene. My hair smelled bad after that. But I couldn't bathe immediately as there was another long wait for pillow. But as someone called back and explained housekeeping was busy, I understand this, so I patiently waited. The smart pillow that came did not come with a cover when I was staying in 1005. When I ordered it at 1601 it had a cover on. But I took it anyway and didn't want to impose myself on housekeeping. Some highlights, we felt very welcome that staff had laid out welcome notes and decorated the bed. A nice gesture! Service so far has been good mostly. Just that I hope staff could be more knowledgeable about the pillow menu. Pillows should come with covers. Phones should be cleaned daily. Overall still a good experience, thank you

Low season not a good time to stay here.

Concierge non existent. Front desk knowledge of neighborhood poor. Hotel’s map of Phuket town is microscopic. Difficult for seniors to read. My wife and I were met on arrival at the Phuket Airport by pre- arranged Hotel transport which was fine. However the hotel transport to the airport on departure was bad. It was not their hotel vehicle. The car’s air condition was not working and the driver kept wanting to stop the car by the roadside to fix the air conditioning but to no avail.

The breakfast could be more westernised, ie. bacon and grilled tomatoes. More variation in evening meals, maybe themed buffets or chefs specials that change. Some restaurant staff really knew what they were doing and were great, ie Georgio. Some had no idea how to operate the coffee machine. Invariably some breakfast foods were not hot because the metho burner had run out of fuel or the timer had not been reset.
