My first time in Phuket and app stated hotel was 4Star hotel. Except for the lobby, the rest of the hotel is smelly with musky smell all around. The gym was dirty and smelly. Room has big cockroach and toilet flies as well as mosquitoes. I had to buy insect spray for the room. Shower water clogged the drain and had to wait for the water to drain off. Sheets were equally smelly.Room floor was so dirty and black that my socks were very black. Not enough lighting in the room and aircon was too cold even after adjusting several times and then went hot in the middle of the night. Had to buy a room/fabric spray. Opted for breakfast buffet and it was terrible. Poor selection and variety of food for a hotel labelled as 4Star. The fruits were not fresh and it was obvious fruits were recycled from yesterday. Everyday I literally ate toasted bread and 2 sunny side up eggs. No variety at all. Very disappointing seeing that it’s stated as 4Star hotel. I’ve never felt so yucky staying in a hotel before.

As I work for Mercure I don't think this hotel is at Mercure standards. The room was very clean but it had a bad smell, there is no conditioner in the shower and when I had a shower the shower gel was empty. I saw a key chain on the desk was that the platinum amenity? I don't understand why you need to get a pool towel from the gym the bar staff is not busy they can put towels on all the pool chairs.. the towel are also miss matching it looks bad.. the pool windows are so dirty you can not see out of them.. The staff is very friendly. I booked 4night but only stayed 1 night I went to the ibus I got towel art on the bed fresh flowers and fruit as an amenity. I would not recommend your hotel
