I checked in late at night and everything was smooth. The room was comfy and both Thai and foreign staffs were helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel, particularly at this price point. I stayed here for two nights and was informed that the property is approximately 8–10 years old and only recently taken over by Mercure. Unfortunately, it is yet to be refurbished, and this clearly shows in both appearance and upkeep. Upon check-in, my initial room had a strong smoke smell despite the hotel being non-smoking. I reported this, and the manager inspected the room with me and acknowledged the issue. I was moved to another room, which initially seemed fine, but later developed a severe sewage odor. The bathroom also had noticeable stains, which I pointed out to the manager. Housekeeping was called, but the overall impression remained poor. To add to the experience, no towels were provided initially, which was surprising and disappointing for a hotel under the Mercure brand. The rooms do not offer any view, so expectations should be kept low in that regard. Overall, the stay was disappointing, and I would not choose to stay here again. The only positives are the location: it is about a 10–15 minute walk from Bangla Road, and there is a 7-Eleven conveniently located just two minutes away.

Extremely Disappointing & Overpriced – Not a Mercure Standard My stay at Mercure Journey Hub Phuket was pathetic and completely unacceptable. The rooms were stinking, poorly maintained, and had bugs. Housekeeping was terrible, far below basic cleanliness standards. The hotel felt more like a cheap guest house than a branded property. The check-in experience was bad, and the staff was rude, unprofessional, and extremely casual. What made it worse was that no one was willing to listen to complaints—issues were repeatedly raised but completely ignored. The food and breakfast were bad, with poor quality and limited options. The location is inconvenient, requiring you to spend around 300 baht each time to reach the main areas. To top it all, the hotel is grossly overpriced for what it offers. I was clearly overcharged, and there are far better hotels available in the same price range with proper cleanliness and service. By no means does this property deserve to be called a Mercure hotel. I would strongly not recommend staying here.

We are concerned by your comments regarding room condition, cleanliness, housekeeping, check-in experience, staff behavior, and food quality. Guest satisfaction is extremely important to us, and we are disappointed to learn that we did not provide a stay that reflects the quality and standards of our brand.
