Really enjoyed our stay at TRIBE Phuket Patong. From the moment we arrived, we loved the relaxed, cool and casual vibe of the hotel. The staff were fantastic, the breakfast was excellent, and the overall quality honestly felt better than some of the recent 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at. There are also lots of thoughtful little touches throughout the hotel that make a difference when you’re travelling, luggage scales at the entrance, USB-C plugs in the rooms, and even a paid washing machine and dryer, which is incredibly handy. A special thank you to Chacha for her incredibly warm, friendly and genuine service. She really made us feel welcome. And a big shout-out to the gentleman at the restaurant bar, unfortunately, we didn’t catch your name! He made some of the best welcome-drink cocktails we’ve had. You could really see the care and pride he put into making them, and he mentioned he was about to enter a cocktail competition. We wish we’d got your name so we could give you a proper mention, but thank you for the fantastic drinks! Our only tip would be to request a room away from the pool, as the rooms facing the pool can pick up more traffic noise. Overall, a fantastic hotel with a great atmosphere, genuinely lovely staff, thoughtful facilities and excellent value for money. We’d happily stay again!

Dear TRIBE Phuket Patong Management, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at TRIBE Phuket Patong. I specifically booked a Pool View room through the ALL Accor app, and the room type was clearly available for booking at the time I made my reservation. However, upon arrival, I was given a Street View room instead. When I raised the issue with the reception, I was told that the Pool View rooms were fully booked. This raises a serious concern: if the hotel was already fully booked for Pool View rooms, why was this room category still available for me to book through the ALL Accor app? From a guest's perspective, this is a clear downgrade from the room category I paid for and booked. If the hotel was genuinely unable to provide the room type I reserved, I would have expected the hotel to offer an appropriate upgrade, such as a suite or another room of higher value, rather than simply assigning me an inferior room. I would also like to highlight my concerns regarding the service at the reception. Unfortunately, the reception staff appeared to be unprofessional, lacked sufficient experience, and were not adequately trained in guest communication and hospitality. Communication in English was also difficult, which made resolving the issue even more frustrating. I experienced similar concerns with the Duty Manager, who did not appear to handle the situation in a manner I would expect from a professional hotel management team. I want to make clear that I have positive feedback regarding the hotel itself. The amenities are very good, and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast. However, the quality of the facilities cannot fully compensate for poor guest service and the way a booking issue is handled. I strongly believe that the reception team and Duty Managers would benefit from additional training, particularly in guest relations, communication, handling complaints, room-category discrepancies, and appropriate compensation when the hotel cannot provide the room that a guest has booked and paid for. I would appreciate it if management could investigate: 1. Why the Pool View room category was available for booking through the ALL Accor app if the hotel was unable to honor the reservation. 2. Why I was assigned a Street View room instead of being offered an appropriate upgrade. 3. How the hotel intends to address the service and communication issues I experienced. 4. What compensation or appropriate resolution you can offer for the downgrade. I hope management will take this complaint seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve the guest experience, particularly for guests booking through ALL Accor.
