The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The area of town is looking very run down and the carpark between the hotel entrance and the road felt sketchy at best. Some better lighting here would help a lot.

The hotel is located about 15-20 mins walk to the popular Old Phuket Town. Nearby, there is a morning market in front of the hotel, a food center 100m away and a shopping center 10 mins away with the most excellent night street food stalls. I think those were more interesting compared to Old Phuket Town. The rooms were clean and the beds firm. The staff was friendly and helpful. The morning buffet breakfast was good, better than expected. On the negative side, to claim my free drinks, I had to walk to the next building (Novotel), walk up a car ramp and go to the bar on the 18th floor. I understand that the pool and gym was also shared with Novotel. It is odd to need to go to another hotel to go swimming or gym, let alone the need to access the hotel by walking up the car ramp.
