The ambiance was relaxing and the decoration minimal, yet accommodating. The moment I set foot inside the lobby, the fatigue of the long driving hours disappeared. Hotel staff do their hosting duties perfectly and go out of their way to tend to your needs, no matter what hour of the day. As always, IBIS is of a good standard and great value for money. Is there any more need to say that the hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the overall service of the high IBIS/ACCOR standard. A highlight: the croissant were extra fresh ;-) A point for improvement. It was not quite clear from the first step of the booking process on the website that we will recieve two rooms and the second room for half the price (as a family of three). The price highlighted in bold print was the price for one room. By clicking further through the process that might well have become clear but upfront it would have been fair to show the total in bold print right away.

Overall OK, but PLEASE change the light bulbs. As in all other IBIS hotels we visited, you are using the energy-saving discharge tube-style bulbs, that give a horrible and unwelcoming light. Please, please change that for good LED bulbs, for a low-cost upgrade of the atmosphere in the rooms!

Room is ok but 1. Weak food offer. In the Gruyere reagion should be possible to eat at least a good and fresh cheese teller. Only microwave stuff and not really willing to offer it by the staff. Ordered a pizza from outside. 2. As a vaccinated person I don't like to wear a mask but it is disgusting to see people letting their mask on the table during the breakfast. This should be prohibited. I was not able to eat by seeing this disgusting scene.

Always enjoy staying at the IBIS in Bulle. Very quiet room with a great view. A nice walk into town for a wild game dinner.. leave the car at the hotel car park. Visit the Thermal baths in Charmey a few miles away. A great weekend break.

ou always know what to expect when you select one of the many Accor Hotels brands, and the IBIS are no exceptions... however, sometimes you are pleasatly surprised... and I was, at this Ibis in Bulle: there's very little to do around, but I was visiting customers in Fribourg and Lausanne, and its location between these two cities was perfect for me. The hotel is new, rooms are the usual Ibis rooms, but a bit more spacious. There's lot of parking (free: always a good news), and many foreign TV channels... They don't have a "real" restaurant, but have a menu and can prepare some simple dishes, which are, nonethelesss, very good: I recommend the Tarte Flambé... and any of the many desserts... all very good! The staff is very nice and professional, and I have to particularly praise a young girl (on internship), working at the bar/restaurant...always smiling and extremely helpful: if managemetn needs to hire someone, I would certainly recommend her!

I have stayed at this hotel several times with a colleague visiting a client nearby. On this visit the gentleman on the vening shift booked us in, we arrived fairly late, and he organised things quickly and efficently. Thankyou to him for I had no issues here However in the morning very early the first problem I had was that the bedroom staff had corwded outside my door and were talking noisily. There was no need for this and woke me up. This wasnt so bad but my experience at Breakfast was poor. My colleague and I came down about 9am and the selection of food available very poor. The egg that was left whad been there too long, the cheese both very hard and soft and had been out too long and it was very clear the staff were more interested in clearing away rather than serving us. I asked for a croissant and if there was any available and was ignored - may be you dont fdo them but I never found out. The young girl working there was particularly unhelpful and given there were two of us at breakfast I thought this was particularly disappointing. We will try to find a different hotel next time - the Bulle Ibis is expensive for what it is and as a frequent traveller its not unreasonable to expect a better experience particularly as my expectations are not that high and due to travelling am very flexible. My colleague thought the same
