black moldy silicone in the shower - can be renewed with comparably low effort washing basin was not cleaned at arrival - some stickey deposits (maybe only soap) from previous guests.

I had a pleasant stay overall at Grand Mercure Jakarta. The buffet breakfast and restaurant were very good, the room and bathroom were comfortable, and the staff was always kind, welcoming, and helpful. I also really appreciated the complimentary water provided every day. On the other hand, I unfortunately did not sleep well during my stay. There was a light inside the room that could not be turned off, and there was also constant noise (possibly from the air conditioning or another system), which made it difficult to properly rest. I also felt uncomfortable with the way an issue regarding towel stains was handled. I received a message saying I could be charged if the stains could not be removed, and it was assumed they were blood stains without first asking me. They were actually caused by hair dye, which can happen with colored hair products. I believe the situation could have been managed in a more understanding and professional way. Overall, the service and hospitality were very good And I appreciate that.

I have to admit that the location is good if you need to go to Expo. The stuff is excellent, helpful and friendly. But the facility itself is below average: - a lot of black mold on the bathroom - i killed two cockroaches - smell of sewage fills the entire room - aircon is noisy - huge pillows with no alternative - breakfast is average ..
