Book a room with "for the love of indonesia" but did not receive all the benefits as advertised. To begin with, whenever I stay with Accor I always request for a room away from lift. Guess what, they gave me room exactly in front of the lift. Room was full of sands and overall was not a satisfactory. Shouldnt be a Mercure at all. Worst mercure Ive ever been to. Ask for late checkout because it wasnt a peak season but they wouldnt let me at all.

The room has a great view. However my kids room smell from the bathroom. Breakfast regular BBQ night disappointing Not worth of my money.. 180k per person with 2 sate ayam 1 sate lilit 1 beef patty raw in the middle. Lost my appetite. Line was long.. many of the food was not refilled fast enough.

Not worth the price tho, i booked 4 rooms via accor. 2 room with platinum membership. Usually i got 4bf for adults & 2child. And i add 2bfast for my 2nd room with the lower price. Once i checked in they said i only had bfast for the 1st room and i didnt add any additional bfast for the 2nd room. I told them i bookee via apps (i even showed them the email gurantee) so i can just pay the app price. They said not allowed to do that. I should pay the normal price. Thankfully i told them to show me the printed out reservation. And i check the price that i booked for 2nd room with additional bfast. Like wtf how come u not notice that. The check-in service was so bad.

Always love coming back again and stay at Mercure Ancol. The package offered by the hotel was really interesting, like a package with free tickets to Ancol, and free upgraded room. I came here to celebrate my birthday, and i really had fun day with family. Thanks for the birthday cake surprise, and complimentary snacks! Only, I think the kids playground needs to be refurbished. A few more activity for kids would be an advantage. Thanks, Mercure Ancol!

Mercure Ancol has been my family's favourite for months now.everyone in the Front office deserve an applause. The manager, Pak Artas, bu ratih, and their staffs Isa, Frans, Vira, Ira, Dwi have been very helpful. the bellboy, alpak ongky and in the restaurant bu Eva, they are very attentive and friendly. a bit improment could be made in the cafe though.

Well located hotel but feels like an old hotel with no updates/upgrades on the room or facilities. looks from outside and the surrounding environment is poorly maintained and inside the hotel smells musty. lobby service and technicians are quite responsive when checking in / out and when there are problems with the bathroom water heater and lights in the room. the gatekeeper is quite good, but unfortunately the bellboy and front door guards are not friendly/ignorant just to say hello or open the door, especially at night (some of the bellboy even have a strange look at my wife when we returning to the hotel that night). Good luck keep the spirit in making improvements, I know the pandemic conditions are still difficult, but hopefully things will get better for all of us and stay healthy!

Fast check in and check out. The staff was friendly. Wifi was perfect. Lots of parking spaces. The hotel was beautifully situated with a view of the ocean. The location was lovely, within walking distance to the beaches, jogging tracks, and nearby restaurants. The air conditioner and hot water were excellent. We chose a room with seaview balcony, but was given corner room (room #654) so the view was not as beautiful as we thought (blocked by sidewalls of the hotel building). Balcony with no chair, so you have to choose, either enjoy the view in a standing position or sit on the (dusty) floor. Not an awesome experience! Need serious improvements to the room cleanliness. Furnitures need a bit of touch up. There was a chair with lots of stains in our room. This chair should be put away, not inside hotel rooms anymore. Ants! Can't enjoy foods and drinks on the table because of the ants. When we first arrived at the room, we found hair INSIDE the fridge. Not enough towel and amenities. No shower cap. Glass wall for bathroom! I think it's strange for family rooms. Even with the installed horizontal blinds to the glass wall, you still can see activities inside the bathroom. If you want to put it for your honeymoon rooms, okay I guess. But in family rooms? Big no no. Should reconsider the form-follows-function rule.

I always stay at Mercure everytime I want a short holiday in Ancol before pandemic (covid-19) so I know there're many differences before & after pandemic. Room less comfortable, too cold because I can't change the AC temp. Breakfast was too simple & didn't have any choice, or maybe because it's "bulan ramadhan" now so many guests are fasting? Staffs also not friendly as before. Swimming pool was smaller than the last time I went there. I think I like Putri Duyung Resort more than Mercure now. I hope Mercure Ancol will improve again, back to 'before pandemic' era or better

Roof view not sea view

Mercure Ancol is the only beachy hotel in Jakarta. We expect that our 'sea view' room (which is more expensive) is on the beach, so we can see the beautiful ocean from patio. Too bad, I just realized, that we skipped to enjoy the hotel credit with following value per night IDR 100,000 per day, because no one tell us about this, until I read the promotion again on the email.

All the staff very Nice . Because im gold member they let us do check out until 4pm. And they give us the Gift! The staff in the Restaurant is outstanding as well . Mrs Iin always take care and help us during breakfast. The staff is so nice and helpful. Clean the table with disinfectant without we ask . So convenient!
