The stay was overall very pleasant. Thank you to Pak Asep, Pak Wahyu, Ka Nur, Erwin, Luchy, Sophian, and the entire Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada team for their warm hospitality and attentive service. That said, I would like to kindly recommend some improvements regarding room facilities and maintenance to enhance the guest experience. During my stay, I noticed several issues that may need attention, including the bathroom door knob, the bathroom light above the sink, and the bath amenities, which should be checked prior to guest arrival (the conditioner was empty during my stay). Additionally, the bedding sheet did not properly fit the bed size. Room cleanliness also requires improvement; my room was not clean upon arrival, and I had to contact the Manager on Duty to ensure it was properly attended to. The sofa was not clean and appeared to be broken, the lamp near the living room desk was not functioning, and there were cigarette ashes found in the toilet near the sitting area. The room carpet also requires more attention. Furthermore, the restaurant seating benches would benefit from a thorough deep cleaning, and the curtains in the first-floor lounge need to be repaired. That is all from my side. Thank you to Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada for your kind attention. I sincerely hope these points will help support further improvements in the future.

Check in was smooth as usual. However my room non smoking room was not ready, hence I was given room 1201 for the meantime, and changed to 2001 afterwards. This is when my stay started going south. Went into the room 2001 with an uneasy feeling, but decided to brush it off. First 2 nights posed no issues, as I was out with my friends till morning. 3rd night onwards, kept experiencing eerie incidents such as feeling like we were observed by "something" while in the toilet. Bed felt like something was jumping on it when we're trying to sleep. Body kept getting jolted, preventing us from falling asleep. Loud buzzing in the ears, with random burst causing sharp pains now and then. More unpleasant incidents happened, but i shall not share it here. Room 2001 definitely need to be cleansed, especially with the Chinese New Year coming soon.
