We wanted to book a suite, but none were available. The only option we had was a (normal?) room with twin beds because I was travelling with my daughter. Check in was fast and efficient but room was not great. After one night the management gave us the option to move to another slightly bigger and better room. Thank you for that! GM wanted to come and see us, but we did not want to waste his time on this small issue and we were a bit grumpy from the quarantine status. The stay was further ok but the food was always served cold. For Indonesian food not so much of an issue, but for western food it is... We expected a bit more when you pay more than USD 100 per night (for the quarantine package) in a hotel where usually the price is USD 50 full board.

over all was satisfied, however want hotel to pay more attention on room food service, as most of the time i requested for garam and sauce for breakfast, seems even writing on the food leaflet it was never brought .

This is my 2nd time quarantine in Novotel. First one is superb. 2nd time is not as expected. I complain about noisy sound (24hours non stop) since my 2nd day but hotel move me to another room only on my 8 days. Suddenly engineering told me the noise is coming from the broken fridge. Not good sleep for 8 nights because of this sound. After move room then can sleep well.

It was fun especially the kid’s corner, the staff at kid’s corner was very nice. The room was spacious, unfortunately we could hear the neighbors’ voices but it was holidays so we could understand. Where’s my Accor’s points anyway? Been more than a week though. Thanks Accor, we will return to Novotel Mangga Dua in the future.

I stayed in the hotel with my family and the other families with total 5 rooms. The room was spacious, really suits for family. I held a group meeting on the first day, and I would say thanks to pak Rochim and pak Ganjar for their support in providing the dinner for us. We love the food during breakfast and also the large swimming pool.

less maintenance in bathroom, drying hings. sound...when we open the door...worry something happen. And..during the night we distrub with a sound like children running at my room nighbourhood...really noise. the officer say is it kid surrounding the room....

Check in 3 pm Ac not cold enough we complain 3x finally at 7 pm we move to another room We wait until 9 pm but ac in the new room also not cold. We can rest. We complain again (I don’t know how many times) Finally at 11 pm they move us to jacuzzi suite. The room is spacious and nice but can we enjoy? (It’s 11.30pm). Breakfast is good

Overall, we have a good experience having 1 night stay in Novotel Mangga Dua. However, there is some missed information that slightly lowers our moods. I'm fully concerned that Hotel must follow any instruction from local authorities healthy protocols First, the information staff didn't mention or inform any regulation that applies to all facilities while we check-in, such kids' rooms are closed and the swim-pool had restrictions on the capacity. So we assume that all the hotel facilities are open. Second, how the staff handled visitor queries to using the swim-pool is not satisfying. Operating hours are different from the stated on the entering gate. In my case, we came to the swimming pool at 430pm, and just know we have to register first before we could use the facility. And we got the schedule for 11 am on next day, only one hour before check-out time. What if we didn't come in the afternoon right after we check-in and we just came in the morning since we didn't inform. The one that I hardly complained that, at the afternoon, from 4 pm-6 pm we could see only a few people around 10-15 peoples on the swim-pool, and the staff very emphatically answered that there were already 30 people booked, so we couldn't enter for new registrants even though in the swimming pool there were only 10-15 people out of a total of 30 people capacity. and staff does not proactively see the condition of many visitors want to use the facility by checking whether those who have registered will use it or not. so, the facilities are wasted since not used far below the capacity. Many visitors were complaining about this during our stay at Novotel at that time since many visitors were a family with children. Novotel is already a very well known 4 stars hotel for its completeness and facilities that are very comfortable to take the family on vacation, so when they are unable to manage/regulate the use of facilities that can make visitors comfortable with still follow the health procedures applied, visitor are clearly disappointed, because the hospitality is one of the main keys for the hotel itself. If there was information at the beginning that the facilities could not be used, of course, it would not overwhelm us in arranging the children to find other activities outside the hotel facilities.

Good evening, I would like to share my experience 2 nights stay with Novotel Mangga Dua Square Jakarta. As a Platinum member, I would recommended this four stars hotel for businesses, travellers and staycation holiday. They provide with 5 stars excellent services, especially thanks to Ms. Eva (receptionist), Mr. Lutfi, (restaurant) and Mr. Danny (room service) and others. They were really helpful and satisfaction serviced during my stays. The room also big, get free upgrade to the suite room, the hot top bath also similar like Jacuzzi, working perfectly normal. Definitely will come back again. Thanks once again, good job everyone, appreciated with Smile 😀

Overalls ok fromcheckin until checkout and room Service also fast response and very helpful. Only the bathroom, when I want to go take a bath in the next day. The water very dirty I don't why but the staff just said open all the tab until all the water clear back by it self. It's waste our time for this things more than 1 hours. 😞

firstly i already checked in online but have to queuing , register and payment for almost 30 mins ( i already paid online but they said its not charged yet ) they didnt inform us before that the hotel was used for isolation for covid 19 ( divided in all floors , why dont just used some floors , its concerned me because of the AC central ) they told us right when we checked in so we didnt have a choice nor anyplace to go. requested for non smoking room and they gave me smoking room ( told me that its been empty for 2 days but the corridors and everytime i opened the door smells so bad ) . Drunk peoples in the next room very noisy in 2-7am and banging the doors so loud that disturbed everyone in the floors but so slow handled . overall im so disappointed

I've been in love with this hotel for a long time now, as they always keep their quality maintained and the staffs are just wonderfully kind. To spend time with family or to do some business stuffs with colleagues, I will be back again and again to this hotel. Even one of my coworker thought that the hotel is a 5-star hotel (they are now still listed as a 4-star). Well, all I can tell is that the quality is already 5-star, but with much cheaper price than any other 4-star hotels. This is a "must-try-hotel" in Jakarta, both for business or leisure.
