Staff are very friendly and helpful. There was extreme weather when we stayed there and as a result the roof was leaking in several places, the staff were run off their feet but still stayed happy and positive with all the guests.

We weren’t happy that the aircon did not work in the main bedroom. A technician came to fix it but it still did not work. Customer service was great and the rooms were clean and the 2 single beds were comfortable. We wouldn’t know about the queen bed in the main room. It was way too hot to use that room. Very disappointed that we paid for a room for 3 people and could only use the one room.

Unfortunately we weren’t notified of our room location on our return stay. We were allocated room 110, which was located directly underneath the Panthers nightclub and we had to endure the doof doof music until 2am. When I called reception at 1am, I was told the music would continue until 2am. We’re returning for the rowing Nationals at the end of March and sincerely hope our room is of a better standard, size and position away from noise. We’ve recommended this hotel to many rowing families over the past 12 months and it’s disappointing our stay was unsatisfactory. Room was small, and terrible location. If we hadn’t paid upfront for our return stay at end March I wouldn’t be coming back. Sorry.

After checking in went quite well .I was given my room key on going in the oder in the room was awful' Looking around to see what it was I found the toilet was full of FAECES not something you expect. I was moved to a different room.

Good location, nice staff, but that place is not a $300 a night hotel that is highway robbery, you don’t even get water in the fridge.

I was made to feel welcome at check in. I received a welcome gift of a jar of mixed nuts and a complimentary bottle of water. The bathroom was clean and the shower recess was one of the biggest that I have had in a hotel.

We came to Penrith for a quick visit. Mercure was an obvious choice for the location to the Club with restaurants and bars. Staff were great. Swimming pool is sadly in need of a very good Reno though.
