We loved our experience and staff was really helpful trying their best. However there's a few things we weren't really happy about: - TV room didn't work: Staff moved us to another room which we were thankful; but the room was a downgrade. We went from a premium queen room to a standard one. It was smaller, didn't have a dining table and bed was smaller as well. - The pool was unavailable: At the time of booking there was no mention of this. Closer to the date, we saw the information on the website. It wasn't announced to us over email or anything. We booked this hotel in spring mainly because of the pool. It was a shame we weren't able to use it. If this is the case, they should announce it beforehand (given that it happens annually for maintenance apparently). Or, if it's a last minute thing, they should offer some kind of refund (at least a percentage). Other than that, it was a good stay. We paid 80% of our stay with Qantas points. If we had paid in full, not sure I would be really happy about it. Thanks,

Hotel experience was disappointing and didn't feel like a 4.5 star rated hotel. Our room had 4 guests but on arrival only had 2 towels, our door keys did not work and we had to go back to reception 3 times to resolve. Our room was missed one day for room service. . The room was dated and also had paint peeling from the bathroom door and just felt like maintenance was not up to standard. On the plus side the staff were really good and customer service was good. As a gold member we didn't have a welcome amenity either.

I can't believe there was no water.. I get it's reserved for silver members but Seriously we been to 2 star hostels in Vietnam that have basic water needs...... Peppers needs to do better and look inwards....

Aircon in our room was not great and cleaners turned it off each time they came in so room was an oven when we returned. Pool was under maintenance but that was not communicated at all until checkin. Believed i had free breakfasts but apparently didnt. $180nzd for 2 ppl 3 breakfasts was excessive.

Overall good, however one period had no hot water. Also no water in pool during stay.
