We had a great time at the Mecure. Our conference kept us out all day and the restaurant was a so handy for breakfast and dinner. We had an issue with out toilet dripping water the first night but that was rectified quickly. The Mecure is so close to the new metro and we tried that out one day. Plenty of parking and it is free. We can only say good things and will return.

I stayed at the hotel on the 21/03/2020 for one night. Room Service was Delicious and very quick. I just wanted to raise one concern about the security of the hotel and hopefully you would be able to pass this on to the ambassador that worked the night shift that night. At roughly 6am my friend entered my hotel room when I was asleep. I was expecting them but not until later that morning as I had complimentary check out at 12pm. I was obviously frightened and confused when I saw them in my room. I am very close with this person so that wasn’t the issue. When I asked them how they got into my room they said the person at reception had given them a key to my room. They told reception they were here to see me and gave my full name and the ambassador had given them a key without even checking my friends ID or anything. I just wanted to bring this to your attention as a security reason. The person who entered my room could have been a complete stranger that somehow knew I was staying at the hotel (luckily they were not) and were given access into my room with complete ease. I hope this is communicated to the ambassador that was working that Saturday night. Reception could have even called my room and informed me there was someone here to see me instead of giving them an access card. Working at a 5-star hotel myself I do know this is not acceptable. I hope you understand why I am writing this to you, so situations like this do not happen to guests in the future. I will still be returning to the Mecure Rouse Hill Hotel in the future I just wanted to express to you my experience. Kind Regards, Gabriella L.

We stayed the weekend the COVID-19 shut down the hospitality industry - which we work in. I cannot express how grateful we were to be welcomed with such warm compassionate smiles. The staff took the time to talk with us, hear what had happened in our day and listed with empathy. After a horrific 3 days we all look forward to coming back to our beautiful hotel room. They were stunningly clean. The rooms are absolutely beautifully styled and the beds - well, they were the highlight we looked forward to of flopping into such cozy comfort at the end of our horrible days. Thank you so much to the staff for your compassion, to those who designed and coordinated the styling which results in the superior experience in a hotel stay and finally, whoever approved to spend that extra money on purchasing those awesomely comfortable beds - thank you!
