We were welcomed warmly although we were told that there was no breakfast the next day as it was Christmas day and The Fiddler was closed. We accepted that. The next morning we found that Mercure had put on a continental breakfast which was much appreciated but surely one of the receptionists the night before could have told us.

Stayed for 4 nights, we were offered a ground floor room cause we are smokers and the Front desk allowed us the preference of Ground floor for easy access to the front doors of and when we felt like smoking. The room was cleaned extremely well every morning and we offered a late check out of required.

Comfortable and clean hotel in convenient location. Signage on Windsor Road is impossible to read unless you are walking slowly by.

We stayed with you guys on Christmas eve until boxing day and are so glad we chose your hotel. after a long drive up to Sydney your staff were friendly and welcoming the moment we walked into the lobby. We were able to have a laugh with the staff regarding our Christmas Balloons we had brought with us to take to a family get together. My partner used the pool that night and another staff member opened a side door for him to come in and also offered a replacement towel so that we were not short on towels in the room. The location was perfect. The opportunity to take a baked good on Christmas day was nice as well, though we didn't as we knew we were in for a big day of eating lol. Will definitely be using your hotel when we are in Sydney visiting family again. The hotel was also nice and clean. The only thing I could fault was that there were no face washers available in the bathroom, so we used the handtowel instead. Thank you for a great stay over Christmas, Until we return, Ashley and Lindsay.

Comfortable stay overall. One comment - why do you insist on putting European style doonas on the beds in an Australian summer?? We'd have reduce the aircon to 16 degrees to cope. Please supply summer blankets as sleeping under a sheet becomes a little chilly in the early hours. Please supply bedding to suit Australian conditions or at least leave a choice in the cupboard.
