I had a great stay at Mecure Rouse Hill. Great staff and great location. Room was very clean and modern. Fantastic location and very convenient being a block away from Sydney Metro.

The room, bed and bathroom was clean but the room was not sound isolated. So I could count all the cats driving by till dawn.

I think this hotel is now one of my favourite accor properties. As soon as we walked in we loved it. Staff are wondrrful. We had problems with our air con, and Caitlin did everything she could to address the problem. The next evening we were moved to another fabulous room. The mean fiddler was also brilliant.

Pool area disappointing. Not like advertised. Public access to a pub and car park and visibility from restaurant tables and a children's play area not part of Mercure , beside pool gate and overlooking pool, made swimming on a hot day (no shelter or seating around pool) not a welcome activity.

Rude Reception Staff

Upon arrival there was no one manning the reception desk. I waited 15 minutes before the receptionist appeared. No hello, no welcome to the hotel, was just plain rude. Being a Platinum Le Club member I did not receive my welcome amenities. Overall a disappointed for a brand new hotel amongst this group.

Having said that, I personally took the responsibility of investigating your review, purely because this is the very first negative review below 80 points, we have received since opening the hotel in July. After thorough investigation, I understand that in fact it wasn't you who stayed with us on the night of 18th November, and that it was your daughter. Firstly, I took the time to go through the footage from our CCTV cameras and I must clarify that the wait time of your daughter at the reception was 41 seconds, and not 15 minutes as mentioned. The receptionist was at the back office attending to a colleague who wasn't feeling well and needed medical attention. I apologize if she sounded rude given the circumstances she was facing at that particular time. In terms of the query regarding Platinum member benefits, please note the member or card holder must stay in the hotel, to qualify for benefits and or points. At Mercure, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please be rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. We had a very good time at the h.. The only issue we had was the AC which didn't work making it very warm and suffocating. We complained but it didnt seem to fix the issue.

We had 2 enjoyable days in the heart of Sydneys west staying at the Mercure Rouse Hill. The Hotel is a bright new building with all the facilities you would expect and excellent staff. No problem was too big. Great location next to a historic pub with a great atmosphere and food. We will be back again soon.
