Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfy bed. Our room was facing the car park and we couldn't hear the traffic from the main road. Close to the wedding reception area we need to be at.

The hotel was new, modern and most importantly clean. The lack of housekeeping over our 4 night stay was somewhat disappointing though.

Room was great and staff friendly. Being the long weekend, no room service or food available. The Fidler shut the only food stall before 8.30. Had to drive into Rouse Hill town centre to find something to eat.

Great stay but I think the bed needed a topper and also the sheets were not tucked in at arrival and we left 1 day earlier due to my girlfriend having our first kid early but overall was a great stay and would go again.

We found The Mercure very comfortable and convenient for our needs. The tariff included breakfast at 'The Mean Fiddler" which is right next door and we also had dinner there which was most enjoyable. We would be happy to stay there again.

It was a nice hotel and nice room design , for a short city get away. Well priced too . Yet the staff require more training, and room facility improvement. The pool is such a joke , way too small , not very private, literally everyone walk from the restaurant can see you swimming in that small pool . And many dirt on the pool too . Yes , room is nice , but no snipers. Is this a 4 star hotel standard ? And I didn’t see any house keeping during my two night stay , was told it is because public holiday , they don’t clean the rooms. Front desk staff need to get more training , I was told the breakfast is $19 so I paid , but I later found out ALL member get half price for food( actually is cheap that way ) . Anyway , I have a ok stay with the hotel , again nice and well design room , wish there are better transport service in between town like a shutter bus.

Firstly, a phone call was made the week before our booking, where it was confirmed we were able to bring 2 additional children. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and confirmed she would place a note on our booking and arrange for extra linen. Upon checking in, I was told that I was not allowed to have the children in the room. I’d suggested to pay for another room it was advised no rooms left, I then proceeded to ask for a refund, a no refund policy applies. Surely in this circumstance, something could have been done to provide better customer service. I was dissatisfied with the rude arrogant response provided by the front desk staff with no solution for my situation. I’ll also add here that there was no extra linen in the room, not even enough to cover our original booking, I’m not sure how 2 bath towels were going to suffice for 2 adults and one child. Also very dissatisfied that my booking reservation confirmed one king bed and one double sofa, only to get to the room to have one king bed and one SINGLE bed, I questioned this with the reception staff who rudely advised that because I’d had a child on the reservation originally the booking is automatically changed to a single bed, with no confirmation to me I assumed I was paying for a king bed and a double sofa! Overall extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this hotel and definitely will not be staying here again. I confirmed bringing two additional children and travelled 400kms to visit the Sydney zoo only to have this disappointing experience with our accomodation.

Stayed one night for a work trip. Room was excellent, bed was very comfortable. It was very nice and quiet in the room despite how busy the pub was. The food and drinks from the pub were excellent. I would be very happy to stay there again.

Really like staying here when I’m this side of Sydney. Fiddler is great for food. Room is extremely well appointed and the local roads are really good for road training. I’m happy to stay here whenever I can.
