I was unable to travel to Novotel Imagicaa due to severe rainfall, landslides, and disruption of train services. Despite explaining the situation and providing supporting documents, my request for a refund was declined, and I was only offered alternative dates( before 31July 2026 only). During my stay, I also had an unpleasant room service experience. When I ordered food to my room, the staff member insisted that I pay immediately. I politely informed him that I would settle the bill at the time of checkout, which is a common practice at many hotels. However, he refused and repeatedly insisted on immediate payment, making the interaction uncomfortable and unprofessional. While I understand that hotels have policies, exceptional situations deserve empathy, and guests should be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, my overall experience fell well below the standards I expected from Novotel. I hope the management improves both its customer service and its handling of genuine emergencies.
