Check in experience was horrible - front desk just couldn’t mange the guests and for me it took over 60 minutes to get the room key . Definitely not one expects from Novotel

Smooth check-in. Yummy food , spacious rooms. Only thing is the room allocated had a noise from theme park which needs to be improved

When we entered the hotel, there was a huge commotion. Though it was 2 pm (Check-in time), we were told that the room would take at least 30-min to be ready. Upon saying that it was already check-in time, we were given a room. The lobby still had leftovers kept from last night. The room furniture looked as though it would fall apart at any minute. The outside patio was extremely dirty. We then requested a room change with the front desk staff. We were told that it'll take 2-3 hours. We got a call in the evening to shift the room. When we reached the new room, we realized that the room was still not cleaned & there was garbage kept in some corners. Upon bringing this to the staff's attention, we were asked to wait and clarify if there was any confusion. After 10 minutes, we realised we were standing in the lobby with our luggage. We went back to the front desk & asked them to at least give us the old room until they figure out what to do about the new room. It finally happened after 40 minutes. The food was okay, but the restaurant staff looked tired. We went to the Nitro bar for a drink, but we saw a very big rat & hence decided to move out. The hotel is located in a nice spot, but is in dire need of an upgrade & proper maintenance.
