To The Hotel Management Novotel Imagicaa Khopoli Reservation No.: QCKSJHVT Stay Duration: 15-Aug-2026 to 16-Aug-2026 Check-in: 15-Aug-2026 (Approx. 7:30 PM) Check-out: 16-Aug-2026 (12:30 PM) Rooms: 2 Guests: 4 Adults + 2 Children Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Novotel Imagicaa Khopoli. Having visited your property earlier and enjoyed a pleasant experience, I returned expecting the same standard of hospitality. Unfortunately, this stay was deeply disappointing. 1. Incorrect Information Regarding ALL Accor Membership Benefits Before booking, I specifically enquired with your customer service team, Duty Manager, and reception desk about transferring Axis Bank reward points to ALL Accor points. No one informed me that Axis Bank had discontinued Accor ALL as a transfer partner effective 2 April 2026. Had this information been correctly communicated, my booking decision may have been different. Due to this misinformation, I ended up incurring approximately ₹32,000 in expenses, resulting in significant disappointment and financial loss. 2. Substandard Water Service and Hygiene Concerns Upon arrival, I found locally branded packaged drinking water bottles in the room instead of the Novotel branded glass bottles expected at a luxury hotel. At breakfast, when I requested glass bottled water, staff attempted to serve water in a previously opened bottle that appeared to have been refilled. This raised serious hygiene and safety concerns and was completely unacceptable. 3. Poor Breakfast Experience and Inadequate Capacity Planning At approximately 9:40 AM, the restaurant was overcrowded with no seating available. Guests were forced to use lobby tables, many of which had not been cleaned. There was an evident shortage of chairs, no proper supervision, and guests were left struggling to find seating while navigating the buffet area. This clearly reflected poor planning and guest management. 4. Failure to Deliver the Expected Hospitality Experience Guests choose Novotel and pay a premium expecting a comfortable, luxury and well-managed experience. Unfortunately, the issues encountered throughout our stay reflected poor operational planning, inadequate service standards, and a lack of responsiveness. While I appreciate that frontline staff may have limitations, the overall management of guest services on this occasion was clearly inadequate. I request that this matter be investigated and that appropriate corrective action be taken. I would also appreciate a response addressing the concerns raised and explaining how the hotel intends to prevent similar experiences for future guests. I look forward to your response. The food experience was excellent. The variety and number of items available, along with the overall quality, were highly satisfying. Totally Satisfied+ with the food. The swimming pool and spa amenities were also good and added positively to the overall stay experience. However, the room cleanliness and condition need significant improvement. The room appears to require either renovation/renewal or a proper deep cleaning, which was noticeably missing during my stay. I hope the hotel team will focus on improving room maintenance and cleanliness standards. With these improvements, I believe the overall guest experience can be even better. I appreciate the good service, food, and amenities, and look forward to having an even better experience on my next stay.
