I have stayed at several Novotel properties in the past, but unfortunately my experience at Novotel Imagica was the worst I have had so far. Given the reputation of the brand, I expected a comfortable stay with good service and well-maintained facilities. Sadly, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standards I associate with Novotel. To start with, we received our rooms very late despite arriving on time for check-in. During the check-in process, we were informed that our luggage would be delivered to our room before we got there. However, when we later returned to go to our room, we were surprised and upset to find our bags lying unattended next to the trash cans. This was both unprofessional and careless, and what made the situation worse was that the staff did not appear concerned about it. We asked the staff to at least send someone to help move the luggage to our room, but even after requesting assistance, no one came. Eventually, we had to carry all our bags ourselves, which is not the kind of service one expects from a hotel that claims to offer premium hospitality. Unfortunately, the issues continued once we entered the room. The room did not appear to be properly cleaned or prepared for guests. It was dirty, and several basic amenities were missing, including a toothbrush, a comb, and even a fridge. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and attention to detail were extremely poor. I truly hope the management reviews this feedback seriously and takes steps to improve the guest experience in the future.
