Check in was a bit of hassle as I had booked directly with Accor and made the payment using Amex Card. The payment did not show up and finally got resolved at the time of Check in. Food was costly though the quality of food was good.

We had a great stay for two nights at Novotel, Imagica, Khopoli. The property is beautifully built and with nice interiors and other amenities like pool and play area for kids. All the staff are extremely courteous. Divyansh and Ismail helped me in a smooth check in and check out. Room service is quick. Breakfast and Dinner at the restaurant, The square is nice and with many varieties. And the most special part was the birthday celebration of our kid with the Imagica parade for which the staff at the restaurant ( can’t recall the name) ensured that went smoothly. To add on, The imagica theme park and water park undoubtedly are one of the best in India. Overall, we had a great time.

Cons 1. Impolite Staff at the gate and swimming pool. They don't know how to talk to educated guests. They think all guests are from rural background as they are. 2. TV in room not functioning and improperly fixed. Room No 539. We had to call support staff to assist us to turn it on first day itself. Pathetic choice of channels on the TV. Dish TV fixed as if to support the TV from falling down and not in the space available of TV. 3. No staff available at the gate for guidance about valet parking. Had to ask where to park. 4. Swimming pool area very very poorly maintained and the hotel building from rear gives looks of a third grade hotel. 5. Towels provided for swimming torn and old. 6. No written instructions available at swimming pool area for washrooms, as well as no staff available for guiding. 7. Most pathetic gym ever seen in a 5 star hotel. We call 3 treadmills kept at one place a gym? Most pathetic. 8. No one available for activating pool table in the gaming area. Pros 1. Reception upgraded room to higher room with sofa cum bed with kids without any hassles. 2. Staff at Breakfast staff was polite. 3. Gaming area for family has been excellently done. Parents can play with kids. 4. The Dance show by Imagica troop was nice. 5. Person who took our luggage till the room was very helpful, he told us everything about the hotel. Colonel L. K., S. C.
