Requested for a late checkout of 1900hrs was advised re the price approx $100. Called next morning to accept it. Guest services said they would have front office to call me back - no response. I called back 1 hr later - was told the same thing. Still no response. Called back an hour later - was told the same thing and havent heard back from your front office until now. I checked out at 2:30 as originally allowed. Have made note to my travel team to not book me in Sofitel BKC going forward if we can help it. If a late checkout is not possible have the sheer decency to return a guest call after 3 times to say no. If guest services cannot help with the same dont answer the call - have someone who can actually do something answer the call. Pointless answering a call 3 times and saying the same thing thrice and actioning nothing. Do better especially since you sit under Accor banner and worldwide they do better consistently

I booked Sofitel because of the brand and quality I get in other countries. But this hotel room is quite old. It is well cleaned everyday. But the tiles and bathroom corners have accumulated dirt over time. For the price I paid, it is no value for money. I expected high quality facilities. However staff were very jovial and friendly and very helpful. Location was great. Hotel lobby areas were limited in space. Main Restaurant food was very good for international they make less spicy food. I rate less because even bed comfort did not match other Sofitel hotels I went to in other parts of the world.
