We stayed at Sofitel Mumbai BKC from 19th February to 20th February, and frankly, this was not the experience one expects from a five-star luxury hotel. There were an alarming number of mosquitoes in the lobby, reception area, and even inside the restaurants. It was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. Guests should not have to deal with mosquitoes while checking in or dining in what is marketed as a premium luxury property. For a hotel of this stature and brand reputation, basic hygiene and pest control should be non-negotiable. This reflects very poorly on the management and raises serious concerns about overall maintenance standards. This issue significantly affected our stay. We genuinely expect better from Sofitel and hope immediate corrective action is taken. Until then, potential guests should be aware of this concern. Very disappointing experience.
