I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent stay, specifically relating to the service at the Fairmont Gold Lounge and Reception. Firstly, I would like to commend the service staff at the Fairmont Gold Lounge, especially Kino and Genevie. They were consistently attentive, warm, and smiley, and made a genuine effort to ensure guests felt well taken care of. Their professionalism truly reflects the standards expected of a five-star hotel. However, my experience with the service associates at the Fairmont Gold Reception was disappointing. On several occasions, service was inconsistent and lacked attentiveness. There were instances where assistance was provided only halfway, and when another guest approached, I was forgotten and the staff immediately attended to the other person. This made the service feel disorganized and inattentive. Additionally, I observed an incident involving three guests sharing the service lift with three Fairmont Gold front desk staff. When the lift arrived, the staff exited first without holding the lift door or allowing the guests to exit ahead of them. This small but important gesture is part of basic hospitality etiquette and is especially expected in a five-star hotel environment. While there were positive aspects to my stay, these service gaps at the Fairmont Gold Reception did not align with the premium experience associated with the Fairmont brand. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve service standards moving forward. Thank you for taking the time to review my comments.

Location-wise this was perfect for our business trip as only a 5 min walk from the T2 airport terminal and close to our base. We got pool view rooms which I wouldn't recommend as there is music playing every night until late. Luckily I had ear plugs but for an airport hotel clearly used for early risers/ catchers of early flights, having music playing outside until midnight is not what anyone wants. This was the only criticism for this hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
