I am writing to share feedback regarding our recent stay. Having stayed at several 5-star Accor properties, I was extremely disappointed by the level of service we experienced here, especially as an Accor Heartist member. It left us wondering if our treatment was substandard simply because of my Heartist status. Check-in & Arrival: Upon arrival, there was no warm welcome, no welcome drink, and no luggage assistance offered initially—even though we noticed other guests receiving these services. We arrived around 2:00 PM and completed the paperwork. While I understood official check-in was at 3:00 PM, nobody notified us when 3:00 PM passed. At 3:10 PM, I had to approach the desk myself, only to be casually told the room was ready. When I inquired about a welcome drink, the receptionist promised it would be sent up to our room, but it never arrived. Laundry Service Delays: When our laundry was finished, housekeeping left a note asking us to call upon our return. After calling, we were told someone would bring it up immediately. After waiting over two hours with no update, I had to go down to reception and collect it myself Housekeeping & Hygiene: The next morning, we requested fresh towels. Unfortunately, both replacement towels had an unbearable, foul smell that we only noticed after showering. Uncomfortable Checkout Experience: During checkout, two staff members approached my partner and put her on the spot for positive feedback, closely watching her as she answered and even insisting she mention another colleague's name (starting with "Ta"). Cornering guests for reviews like this felt uncomfortable. While the room itself was fine, the lack of service, follow-through, and basic 5-star hospitality made this a very disappointing experience. I hope management addresses these operational and service standards with the team.

I had a great stay at the Grand Mecure. The location is fantastic! The pool is massive and good temperature. I just wish the seats at the swim up bar were under the water as only your knees down are in the water but still a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink. I did hear my neighbours talking and their TV so soundproofing could be a little better but thankfully they were not up late. People have moaned about the fireworks noise from the beach and honestly it only goes for a short time at around 10pm and did not bother me at all. This is my second time here and I would come back.

The hotel overall is good, the room is comfortable as well but the floor is slippery, i almost fell down many times but it doesn't really bother me. The breakfast has so many variant and sections, i was enjoyed exploring the breakfast. Also, the location is really near from the beach, just walk around 2minutes from the hotel. Recommended. service was poor. Not guest friendly. Had to take a mile walk to smoke a cigarette. Property is good but the service was not. Took more than 10 minutes to open my door when I was locked out and also room service took long time to send a dinner plate. With the price paid, I expected excellent service but then I was disappointed.

Pleasant stay, staff were friendly but there were a few issues: Room aircon was very noisy even on low setting. In-room fridge was not cold. Room cleaning staff were very noisy when cleaning adjacent rooms, constantly ringing door bells & banging doors. Pool was nice although we witnessed an incident at the pool where a young girls hair was caught in one of the electric pool toys and while staff acted quickly they didn’t release her hair for some time even after the parents asked for scissors to cut her hair to release it.

We stayed 6 nights in September this year and we reallly enjoyed our stay . The buffet breakfast was like nothing ive experienced with a daily rotation of cuisines from around the world .I particularly enjoyed the Indonesian options . The pool area has enough shade from umbrellas and trees and we enjoyed the bean bag options . The highlight was definitely the friendliness of the staff , everywhere you turned a staff member was there to smile and acknowledge you . The room was cleaned immaculately every day and it was an absolute pleasure to stay here.
