We keep returning to Peppers because of the outstanding service and the unique luxury of having a private villa within a resort. The Laneway restaurant is excellent, the breakfast is exceptional, and the lunch and dinner menus are consistently delicious. The staff at Laneway are some of the warmest, friendliest people we've ever met and are incredible with children, making every meal a pleasure. The Peppers Spa is another highlight, with highly skilled massage therapists who provide a wonderful experience. While the four- and five-bedroom villas are quite a walk from the lobby, restaurant, and main pool, the complimentary buggy service makes getting around easy, especially in the heat. The buggy drivers are always friendly and welcoming. The resort shuttle also runs regularly and conveniently drops guests at nearby shops, markets, and restaurants. This was our fourth stay at Peppers in the past three years, which is why it was disappointing to notice a decline in the condition of the villas. While the service remains exceptional, the accommodation is beginning to show its age. The bathrooms had an unpleasant smell, our room felt damp and musty, the pool decking was old, loose, and in need of repair, several blinds were broken, the outdoor pool furniture was faded, stained, and torn, and the outdoor showers had very low water pressure. The air conditioning also struggled to cool some of the rooms. To the resort’s credit, when we mentioned the bathroom odour, the staff responded immediately and sent maintenance to address the issue. Their prompt response reflected the excellent level of customer service we’ve always experienced at Peppers. We were also very grateful to be offered a late checkout on our final day, which made our departure much more relaxed. We genuinely love staying at Peppers and will likely return because the staff and overall experience are so special. However, we hope the resort invests in refurbishing the villas, as they no longer reflect the premium standard and price point that guests expect.

Villa was great, staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. We loved the in-villa BBQ - Oka was a fantastic host. Our main complaint was the buffet breakfast including a la carte breakfast both of which were well below average for a hotel of this calibre and needs much improvement. Buffet food options were very basic, there was no 'wow' factor, food items and crockery weren't regularly restocked. The food overall (apart from the BBQ) on the a la carte menu was mediocre. While I'd recommend Peppers Seminyak based on the accommodation alone, I would caution friends away from eating The Laneway at all, given the high-quality of food options around Seminyak and beyond. The Laneway needs a complete refresh. If you want a local comparison check out the incredible buffet breakfast at the Andaz Bali, this is what Peppers should be aiming for.
