Lovely spacious rooms great location and amazing staff. Yummy restaraunt and ocean breeze restaraunt also very good Resort needs some maintenance and renovation . Pool tiles loose (easy to cut yourself) decking needs fixing , sanded and oiled . Our bathroom basin plugs were broken . A little tired looking overall but great value for money

The Grand Seminyak is right on the beach. Rooms are extremely spacious. Customer service from reception and housekeeping was exceptional. The only 2 drawbacks were that the property is in need of upgrades. The rooms as well as the general area and especially the rooftop restaurant, lifts, corridors show signs of wear and tear. This could be an exceptional property if the upgrades were done and the place was maintained properly. The other drawback is that the breakfast menu is the same everyday so after the 3rd day it can seem repetitive.

Review of Grand Seminyak Lifestyle Boutique Resort, Bali From the moment we arrived, our experience at Grand Seminyak Lifestyle Boutique Resort was absolutely exceptional. The entire staff welcomed us so warmly, and the welcome drinks on arrival immediately set the tone for a truly relaxing and luxurious stay. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday as well as our wedding anniversary, and the hotel made it feel incredibly special. Our sea-facing suite was stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and offering breathtaking views of the ocean. My wife was overjoyed, and it honestly made our celebration unforgettable. The suite itself was perfect in every way, with great comfort and excellent entertainment options. The staff were consistently attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay, with special thanks to Satya and Suya for their outstanding hospitality and care. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. We also had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. Krishna and Dinda were absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. Their service really added to our dining experience and made us feel genuinely looked after. A special mention has to go to the à la carte breakfast, which was absolutely fantastic. The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Having breakfast cooked fresh to order rather than simply having the usual buffet experience made such a difference. The breakfast staff were also amazing — so friendly, attentive and welcoming every morning. It was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. The location is unbeatable — right on the beach with a perfect Seminyak vibe. It’s peaceful yet vibrant, with everything you could want within easy reach. The combination of spacious rooms, amazing service, fantastic restaurant staff, fresh food and beachfront access made this one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had. Simply put: perfect location, perfect vibe, perfect service, incredible food, and a perfect stay. Absolutely amazing from start to finish! We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali.

We had an ocean view room, it was stunning. The assistance provided by staff to ensure we had a 5 star experience delivered! Breakfasts on the rooftop was amazing and the poolside service was next level!! We especially loved the poolside call buttons. Beach bar music during the day and early evening was a winner for us. Would definitely recommend! Oh and the mattress was super comfortable and we probably didn’t need to bring our own pillows.

Grand Seminyak Lifestyle Boutique Bali Resort is a wonderful property situated right on the beach. Our room was huge, with a very comfortable bed and an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. The beachfront location and beautiful views were definitely among the highlights of our stay. The restaurant is located on the rooftop and offers a mesmerising view of the ocean. The breakfast spread was extensive, with quite a few options for pure vegetarians who don’t eat eggs, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. Very comfortable, if rather dated room. I imagine in the 80’s or 90’s when first constructed it would have been exceptionally luxurious. While still retaining a wonderful sense of space, the decayed details - cracked concrete, peeling caulking in the bathroom etc - gave the impression of a lack of cleanliness when actually it was spotlessly clean from a housekeeping perspective. The front desk staff, and the breakfast team on the roof terrace were all exceptional and a credit to your hotel. I would return for their level of service alone. My only criticism and reaction as a first-time visitor, is the sense of it being a “lifestyle” marketed boutique hotel. Which lifestyle? I felt it was trying to be all things to all people rather than focusing on fewer anspects and doing them exceptionally well. For example - I was not tempted to use the spa service, simply because I associate that with peace, serenity and relaxation and the perpetual pulsing base from the endless music outside did not match with that ambience. Equally the selection of music for the “beach club” pool deck environment was far too repetitive, too “young” for the apparent expenditure and profile of your average guest (based on what I witnessed at least, and your rooms price-point) which resulted in the daytime “beach-club” experience being as limited as the desire to use the spa. I was personally so tired and stressed driving my need for this holiday, that on arrival I found the intensity of the loud music too overwhelming, wanted to be elsewhere and actually spent the day off-site instead (another guest expressed the same reaction) when we were in conversation. Thankfully due to a complete lack of people the music finished quite early some days during my 5 night stay. Maybe more “chill out” lounge style background music, especially in the morning/afternoons, could be more appealing to a wider profile of guests? I have experienced similar styles of accommodation in Thailand that combine the “luxury” with the modernity of music and a day-club atmosphere to a much more successful degree. I felt the Ocean Grand was “trying to be” a throbbing club however it was actually detracting from the rest of the guest experience, the peaceful rooftop restaurant (which was serene at breakfast and in the mornings until the pulsing base started dead on 11am) And the idea of relaxing in the jacuzzi on my ocean facing balcony while vibrating to the base, proved equally unappealing - and therefore detracted from my overall opportunity of the experience. All that being said, the staff can only work with what they are given. They are obviously dedicated to pleasing people as best they can, and in that regard your team excelled. With a cosmetic uplift - even if only to the bathrooms - and a re-think to the “club-style” outside offering this could be an exceptionally attractive hotel offering that I would undoubtedly return to. But for the price paid, I would likely look elsewhere as it stands.

We had a wonderful stay. We did think that some of the thoroughfares that guest use feel like they should be for staff only. They detract from the luxury feel of the accommodation.

A beautiful 2 night stay to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing. The only slightly negative review is we ordered two drinks by room service they still hadn't arrived after 1 hour, so we had to cancel as we needed to go out. But other than that it was amazing and the staff were so lovely, helpful for anything we needed and very reliable. Would definitely stay again, thankyou for your hospitality.
