Could not fault this hotel for cleanlines It was in a great location Staff were extra friendly breakfast was lovely I think the only improvement I could suggest was at the checkin counter Staff took along time to handle the long lines We did have a basic room overlooking the pool

aldog1977 Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

So on Monday I checked out of my hotel in Bali. I rushed to the airport only to realise afterwards that I’d left my AirPods on the pillow as I was charging them and put them down to move some stuff. I totally accepted that I should’ve remembered them do not blaming on that part. Think damn I better email the hotel and offer to pay for them to be shipped back to me in Aus but on checking my find my app I’m watching them move from hotel and onto a town 20ks away. So I email what I was going to write and add a screen shot to the email of that they have now moved on. Get on plane very discouraged only to see when I land they have moved even further away. So I get home waiting for a response only to have noticed Now they are back at hotel so I wait for the email and reply. I’m 5 emails now sent and a phone call and still have no answers to my request “have you found my AirPods” it seems now someone has at least opened the case and taken them out as the app now shows they are seperated. If your staying at the Mercure Bali Legian Hotel please make sure you grab everything as if you don’t you’ll probably never see or hear about it again. Oh and the breakfast was cold most morning too

Hotel was run down stayed in a pool room. Mould on bathroom ceiling, vent hanging down. Asked to borrow iron was given something that looked 100 years old cord frayed broken base and exposed wires . Breakfast was ordinary, danishes stale every day, no real bacon. Staff were very inattentive. Have to follow up on my $100 deposit being refunded. I was told on checkout that the refund on the eftpos wasn’t working and as yet have not received my $100 back. All in all very dissatisfied and would not stay there again. I would appreciate someone contacting me to refund my money.!!!

We stayed for 14 nights.We had a wonderful time.I understand after Covid lockdown everything in Bali has become a bit run down.I enjoyed my stay at Mercure and hope you will be able to get back to what you were before..
