I contacted the hotel on the 14/03/2020 via email to enquire how long it takes for the security deposit of $100 AUD takes to return to my account and no one has responded to my query. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and service. I am yet to received the money back even though the money was processed back to our account on 10/03/2020. I will be taking this further.

Our check in process was smooth, our room looked smaller than the pictures but had an unnecessarily oversizes balcony. The bathroom had a decent amount of mould on top part of the sink. I wasn't keen on using the 'decorative' pillows as they looked filthy and every night we would place then on the ground and every day they were put back on the bed with the same covers. The shower is so poorly designed. Why does the door open INTO the shower with the shower head at the same end? For such a humid country, why is there no air conditioning in public spaces? Lobby and elevators to start with but what baffled me was the restaurant. So hot and sticky every morning for breakfast. I get that having the open doors to the pool is a nice effect, but the heat is uncomfortable. Another issue with the restaurant was the bees. I'm not sure what type of bee they are, but I am terrified of being stung as I am allergic, and everyday I saw other people concerned with them.

The hotel is walking distance to the beach, entertainment and shopping. The staff are very accommodating and provide typical Balinese friendship and hospitality. It is very relaxing to swim in either of the two pools and the breakfast/dining menu offers food to suit most tastes. Will definitely stay again on my next visit

Liked · Room was very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. Location was also great - only 60,000 rupiah cab ride to the international airport. Disliked · My little 7 year old was attacked by a 15 yo girl and 10 yo (?) boy in the pool where he was choked around the neck and pushed under the water. It was quite frightening and even more so because the lifeguard was not on the pool deck. I saw it happen and intervened. The parents of the other children were in the bar around the corner and could not even see the pool from where they were seated. More signage should be erected to insist on parents watching their children at all times in the pool.
