It wasn’t living up to the Pullman experience. We had an ocean view room and there was about a 3-4 gap around the balcony door. This let all the noise of the street below into the room which include bikes and dogs barking all night. The hotel is also dating needing a really deep clean to bring it up to the 5 star look. The main pool wasn’t very clean with a smear on the surface of oils and tree litter. We went to use the infinity pool but with little to no shade this not an option. We also order some drinks for the bar assuming we could room charge like every other hotel, we embarrassingly found out that we couldn’t room charge and had to awkwardly run back to the room and get money to pay for them. It really missed the mark on what our expectations are of the Pullman brand.

Especially regarding the discomfort caused by the balcony door gap and the resulting street noise that affected your rest. We also appreciate your comments regarding the overall condition and cleanliness of the hotel, including the pool areas. Your observations have been shared with our maintenance and housekeeping teams for immediate review and improvement, as maintaining a comfortable and well-presented environment is extremely important to us. Regarding the room charge matter, kindly allow us to clarify that, in accordance with hotel policy, room charging privileges are available once a deposit has been arranged through our reception team. This information should have been clearly communicated during the check-in process. Without the deposit arrangement, purchases are required to be settled directly at the point of sale. Nevertheless, we truly regret the inconvenience and awkwardness this situation may have caused during your stay. Your feedback is invaluable, as it helps us identify where we are falling short and where we must improve to better align with guest expectations and brand standards. We do hope you may consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with a stay that better reflects the quality and service associated with the Pullman experience.
