Rooms were clean. The upper pool area was nice. Several things bugged me and the nightly food was the biggest. Each day the rooms were serviced there was always something overlooked. Eg no face washers, glasses not replaced, no toothbrushes, hair wash container not refilled even when I pulled it apart and left it out in an obvious spot. No consistency. Starting from checkin it was a disaster. When we got to our room there was such a long delay for our luggage I had to call reception. They couldn't help because I wasn't given a luggage ticket. Eventually 2 of our 3 bags arrived. After much distress the 3rd bag finally made it. In the days following some things didn't make sense. We questioned staff. It appears our checkin person didn't explain to us how things worked, nor give us appropriate forms and vouchers. I assume it was the same person that caused the problem with our luggage. We eventually got it sorted out. The rooms were spacious and lovely but the furnishings and layout are impractical with room for improvement. There was no sofa where we could simply watch TV together. The room space could be made so much nicer and usable. The price of general FB was expensive approaching offensive. The worst were the dinners. We went twice and that was enough. We even had a free voucher which we refused to use. We'd rather risk Bali-belly somewhere else that eat there again. At 5pm the food is great when laid out on benches and under heat lamps. Everything looks great and I am sure tastes amazing. Come along 7-8pm when people eat, the same food is still sitting there. I am sure it is the same salad, stew, spring roll, etc that I saw at 5pm. The food must be replaced much more regularly and never wait until the dish is empty. There is a reason why most of the dishes won't get emptied. The steamed fish was like a brick and couldn't be pulled off the bone. Crispy things cooked hours before were dead long gone. Food in pots turned into a tasteless mush. At one stage there were 4x empty BBQ pots in front of the BBQ. Hoping for the next BBQ batch, the chef placed all of the freshly cooked food onto dishes which staff took away to a secret location. The restaurant patrons missed out. Then it happened again. I don't know where this secret place was but it wasn't the restaurant. Each batch took about 10x minutes to cook. Finally a batch made it to the restaurant BBQ pots. The restaurant patrons flocked like sea gulls and it was all gone in seconds. After this stupidity and the dead muck left out on buffet display we left and ate elsewhere. We tried the restaurant the night after hoping it was a one off bad night. Same again. It was so disappointing to witness how something so yummy ends up so terribly gross. The manager and head chef need to wear fake mustaches in disguise and try the restaurant later in the night. It is a disgrace. A real chef would throw a tantrum. We never went back even though we had a free voucher.

It was an enjoyable place to stay especially with kids. Playing in the swimming pool and having safari animals coming to the hotel. The check in was a little late for 1 of the room. So we are given a late check out

Our stay was so nice We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and loved the hotel. The staff were so nice and happy hour at the top pool was so fun with the dj or trumpet player. Hotel is super clean and very well maintained
