At both check-in and check-out, the service provided by Indah lacked engagement, which was noticeably different from the level of service I have experienced at other five-star hotels in Bali (having stayed at more than 20 properties, including well-known brands). Additionally, she forgot to release the bond upon departure, and I had to ask her, which is quite unusual for a hotel of this standard. The F&B team was generally very friendly and welcoming; however, there were some inconsistencies in service. For example, certain guests were offered coffee and freshly pressed juice, but despite my Platinum status, this was not extended to me on the first day, and I only became aware of it on the second morning. This highlights a valuable training opportunity to ensure all team members are fully aware of the offerings and can deliver a consistent guest experience. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast was outstanding - with excellent variety, quality, and presentation.

After a full day of exploring, Grand Mercure Seminyak welcomed us into a space of pure comfort and calm. The beautiful pool, warm sunlight, and gentle atmosphere created the perfect setting for us to slow down… to just be present and enjoy each other’s company. The service was truly top-notch—thoughtful, attentive, and filled with warmth that made us feel so well taken care of. Watching her play, laugh, and enjoy the water so freely… seeing those genuine smiles and joyful moments— it reminded me that sometimes, the simplest moments are the most meaningful. No rushing. No plans. Just rest, relaxation, and togetherness. And in that stillness, I realised— this is exactly what we needed.
