I wasn’t told about informing reception if I wanted my room made up each day, so I missed the first day and when I asked and notified them that I need it done for the remainder of my stay they missed the next day again.
Two of the mornings there was no hot water.
The only saving grace is that the bar and restaurant down stairs was good.

I wasn’t told about informing reception if I wanted my room made up each day, so I missed the first day and when I asked and notified them that I need it done for the remainder of my stay they missed the next day again.
Two of the mornings there was no hot water.
The only saving grace is that the bar and restaurant down stairs was good.

The room only with Bayview is amazing but the others rooms with the city view not really good.

Great location, fantastic service, comfortable and clean. Unfortunately our main door opened up by itself 3 times during our one night stay. The first time we noticed it was when we came back to the room after dinner and the door was slightly open (we thought we may not have pulled it shut properly. Then later in the night before going to sleep we noticed it was slightly open again and then again when we woke up in the morning.

We stayed here for a 2-night family holiday and the experience fell well short of expectations. The property was under active renovation, with construction materials, dust, and unfinished areas visible throughout common areas from arrival.
Check-in was delayed nearly 2 hours past the standard time. Once in the room, the sofa bed had a very thin mattress with springs clearly felt through it, making it uncomfortable to sleep on — it was swapped for single beds the next day after we raised it.
The most concerning issue was the pool. Management later claimed the pool itself was "under construction" — yet there was no signage anywhere on the property saying so, nothing on the property's public listing, and staff at reception gave us a pool access card without any mention of restriction or hazard when we asked. If the pool genuinely was under construction, staff clearly weren't informed either — which is worse, not better. On top of this, the pool ladder had rubber padding secured with zip ties, with the sharp cut ends of the ties left exposed underneath the steps — a real injury risk to anyone using it, especially children.
Breakfast service was also inconsistent — unlabeled dishes, some items tasting off, and repeated delays getting our table cleared.
Individual issues were eventually addressed once raised, but by then a two-night family holiday had already turned into two days of managing problems instead of enjoying time together. Disappointing stay, and I wouldn't return to this property.
