My stay was way less than ideal, my rooms aircon would not lower, so I had no sleep, I rang reception twice during the night and was assured this would be fixed, it wasnt. The next morning I approached reception and they promised that a maintenance crew were on the way and it would be fixed and they would book out another room just in case - great I thought and at lunch time they rang and confirmed the a/c had been fixed, however after getting back late in the afternoon my a/c was not working - the issue is, I suffer from a medical condition and having no sleep put this into a spin which took all day and night to work on and I nearly got to the stage I had to call an ambulance. My plans in Melbourne had to change, my stay was way less than ideal and I want my money refunded as this ruined my trip and even upon leaving the a/c still wasnt working. Staff were excellent, I cannot complain about that at all.

Only issue I had was that I had a $30 credit for food from the company with my room that was never told to me at the time of check in. So I went and paid for my meals/ breakfast outside until a colleague told me after I had checked out. She did not know about it either. It would have been good to know at the time if check in.

Good location. Nice rooms. Mattress was great. I found the scent in the foyer areas overwhelming and made me feel sick.

Our room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Location was perfect with walking distance to shops, cafes and Marvel Stadium.

I dont normally provide feedback for accommodation. Overall, accommodation and level of comfort was okay for the price... However, some feedback I hope that you will take on: 1. Late night room service - I tried calling room service several times between 10pm and 10:45pm on Monday 23/3 on line #3 as per the in-room instructions. The phone kept ringing without any diversion to a different line with active operator, voice mail or ring out... One time someone picked up my call on #3 however they hung up straight away! I eventually called reception who took my order - they said the room service line is not manned late night which is never mentioned anywhere... 2. Late night food - the fried rice I ordered was atrocious. I understand you dont have kitchen staff late night, however the microwaved frozen fried rice I received was barely warm and soggy. Horrible food. You need to update the late night menu to only offer meals you can make and provide with good quality. 3. Access cards - my card was deactivated early twice. This resulted in me spending about 15min each time going to reception having my card reset and going back to my room to try. Frustrating to not be able to go into your room after a long day out 4. Aircon - The aircon controls in the room do not work. I can only adjust the fan speed in the room, however the room target temperature is just a number on the display... not an actual setting I can apply. I set my aircon at 21c/high fan overnight and it was still 24.5c in the morning! 5. Cellular/4G/5G reception - mobile reception in the building is shocking. Im am with Telstra and despite having 5G reception, I cannot download or do anything.

The experience you described calls going unanswered and being disconnected is unacceptable, and we will review both our phone handling procedures and how we communicate service hours to guests. I also regret that the quality of the late-night food did not meet expectations. Even with limited overnight options, the food provided should still be of an acceptable standard. Your feedback about the fried rice and menu suitability has been noted, and we will review both the offerings and preparation process to ensure better quality and consistency. I’m sorry as well for the inconvenience caused by your access card being deactivated prematurely on multiple occasions. This is understandably frustrating, particularly after a long day, and we will investigate why this occurred to prevent it happening again. The issue with the air conditioning in your room is also concerning. Guests should have full control over their room temperature, and it’s clear this was not functioning correctly during your stay. This will be addressed with our maintenance team as a priority. Lastly, I apologize for the poor mobile reception you experienced. While network coverage can sometimes be outside of our direct control, we understand how important reliable connectivity is and will review whether any improvements can be made within the property.
