I was treated very disrespectfully by reception at check-in, being told the room was not paid for, despite the booking being made by my company (NTRO) who use the hotel a great deal. I'll now think twice about using the hotel for any of our future events. We promoted the hotel to our event participants, and we had paid for a number of event speakers to stay at the hotel too. I'm now concerned that in future if this had happened to one our speakers, rather than myself, this would reflect very badly on us as a company. The reception staff even recognised the name of our events manager who had booked the accomodation, yet still they were insisting there was an issue. This is very poor form, and your staff need to be better trained in how to handle issues like this.
