Your staff are excellent. Can I suggest that you advise guests re the carparking entry being prior to the reception area. It took me 20 minutes longer to get into the carpark after cutting a lap. Also $ 65.00 parking for a guest is well and truly over the top when we are paying over $400 to stay the night

This hotel is great being near Southbank precinct, convention centre and DFO centre.

I was told by reception staff after checking in (who even checked with management and called me in my room to confirm) that I was eligible for credit of points for this stay. I am now very disappointed to see on ALL app that apparently the stay is now regarded as being “ineligible for earning points”. I have booked at Novotel South Wharf multiple times this year using the same method with no issues. Now being told that credit for staying is no longer eligible. I don’t understand why, especially when told by staff that it would be credited. It’s really not good enough. You should be looking after your loyalty program members better. I travel for work a lot and I’m seriously thinking of avoiding your hotel going forward unless this is fixed. That said, I am booked to stay there next Monday (organised before this issue came up) and will be bringing this up in person when I get there.

The team needs to go back to basics. 1. Experience at Mr Carpano for breakfast was terrible. Didn't want buffet, given a menu and told to sit for someone to take an order. 10 minutes, no one came. I get up to order a coffee, seat get taken, only available was a table with empty plates. I wait longer, no service. Getting up again I ask to change to buffet so I can get on with my day. Staff says I have plates on my table and I have eaten. I explain the fact I am getting up to order since no one came. Overall what should be a seamless experience, became 40 mins of wasted time. 2. No water etc provided as a Platinum Member. They provided a card on my second day in the afternoon supposedly coming at 3:00pm~, then later in the night. By that time, I had purchased my own because it wasn't provided upon check in. I did check in earlier, though, took over 24hrs for them to come the first time to offer - for which I don't like staff entering my room.
