Great welcome, the rooms are a little old and the lack of a Accor breakfast and dinner option is limiting. Staff are very nice

We recently had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is located close to the Portsea township. The rooms have a balcony with views over the bathroom. The room was well-appointed, however the carpet could have benefited from being more thoroughly vacuum cleaned. There were limited on-site dining options. During our stay, hot food was not available for lunch, other than the the offer to toast sandwiches. There was no diner service. However, the nearby Portsea Hotel is a very good dinning venue. Having a car is absolutely essential and there is plenty of on-site parking.

Excellent front of house service great view over golf course. Only criticism was the lining under chairs in room and foyer has come away and hanging from under chairs and also walls in room a bit scarfed they need a little attention eg paint or cleaning.

Yes, well located.

Needed maintenance. Sliding door to court yard was stiff and hard. Bathroom door was stuck and can't close properly.

Jon T TripAdvisor review

I have stayed at numerous Accor Group hotels as a paying member and have an expectation. Firstly I'll cover the positives: - It was quiet and overlooked the Portsea Golf Club; - The room was clean, the bed comfortable and we were given a bottle of wine (I assume because I am an Accor Member). Now the negatives: - Car Parking. Once unloaded at the door I had to move to an outside carpark which was down a hill. I am fully mobile but I feel sorry for anyone who may find it difficult to walk up or down a hill;. - There weren't any overhead lights and had to rely on low wattage bedside lights which were quite dull; - I had to move the 4 watt bedside light to the desk so I could see the keyboard on my laptop; - The sliding door to the balcony needed repair. I tried several times to get the wheels back on the track but needed tools; - The moths liked resting between the screen and glass door and as soon as I opened the door several flew in to the room. They were big buggers too; - We arrived late afternoon (about 3.30pm) and after unpacking decided we would relax with a drink in the Clubhouse. On holidays my wife likes to have a cocktail but not here. They don't make them!! As an alternative she asked for a coffee but the machine had been turned off. This was a Tuesday btw. We left in disgust; - No voucher for a free drink at the bar was provided so I guess the bottle of Brut wine in the room was the alternative. We don't drink it normally; - Breakfast and lunch are catered for in the hotel but not dinner. It was early Feb so still tourist season. We drove in to Portsea township and even the pub was closed (couldn't even buy a beer) so we had to drive to Sorrento.
