It was ground floor & no lock on screen door so no fresh air overnight. Mattress was extremely hard & two pushed together & felt the ridge all night. Also would have appreciated some biscuits to have with our tea or coffee.

Dear Brian and Janet P., Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Mercure Portsea. I am sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. All of our 24 rooms are on the lower floor and the standard rooms do offer an outdoor courtyard and air-conditioning is available in each room. The beds are joinable beds, as outlined via the Accor website, we provide mattress toppers to assist with extra comfort. Again I am sorry you were disappointed with some aspects of your stay.
